[No Spoilers] Life is Strange's console problems and the need for a next gen remaster

    Posted: 21 Aug 2020 03:58 AM PDT

I love the Life is Strange series, but on console.. it has some problems.. it runs at 30 fps and looks way worse than on pc, especially the first game.. that's why I hope there will be a remaster of the first game on next gen, or just a patch for all games.

[ALL] Finished LiS2, here's my thoughts on my ending + the other games.

    Posted: 21 Aug 2020 08:49 AM PDT

I got the Lone Wolf ending. When Sean threw the keys out of the car, I immediately knew something was going down, especially with how distraught Daniel seemed. "So went all this way, all this shit for nothing? You told me, we were going to Mexico!" And the worst part? I thought I was doing okay. But apparently, I taught Daniel to only care about Sean and himself. All of this to get a kiss from Finn. I currently don't have the energy to replay, but I ended up choosing to go through the border after freaking out, eventually getting the Blood Brothers ending. It's better than nothing, right?

This game really pulled at my heartstrings. The Life is Strange franchise will ALWAYS have a special place in my heart, and selfishly I'm wishing for another game, or even just a little small project. I'm honestly gonna miss Daniel and Sean. Sean kinda reminds me of myself a tiny bit, although I'm the youngest in the family. I feel like Sean, but act like a Daniel! Anyways, Dontnod doesn't fail me at all with their developing. The way they can create characters that they know will leave an impact on you after finishing the game is astounding. Even after years of the first game being fully released, the fanbase is still as alive as it was when it first was announced.

I'll always be conflicted with some of the characters, such as David. He's a well written character, and when he was first introduced I was with Chloe. I never had good experiences with men in my mother's own life, so I understood why she was so hostile towards him. He gave me creep vibes. But as time went on, and especially in Before the Storm, I couldn't help but feel bad for him. He's a man trying to do what's best for his family. A lonely veteran, working at a crappy job as a security guard. It's a love hate relationship with the guy. That's what draws me to him.

In conclusion, LiS2 has to be one of my favorite games out of the 3. It's the one that made me feel the most, because Sean and Daniel's relationship felt so real, as if they were retelling the story of 2 brothers that actually existed. And considering how the world is now, the racism shown in the game really hits different nowadays. It's honestly depressing how things like that happen in the real world, and Dontnod was trying to portray this in the game, and they did it beautifully. Best game I ever bought. No regrets.

[NO SPOILERS] Running LiS2 on Parallels App?

    Posted: 21 Aug 2020 01:23 PM PDT

Hi! I absolutely loved LiS and BTS and was so excited to play LiS 2 until I found out that my 2016 MacBook Pro 15" isn't supported :(

I recently looked into downloading the Parallels Desktop App and Windows 10 to play a different game that's not compatible with Mac, and I was wondering if LiS 2 would work on my Mac if I did that? Parallels is expensive so I'm just wondering if it's worth it to buy it. Thanks in advance for any advice! :)

    [ALL] question about Jefferson

    Posted: 21 Aug 2020 10:10 AM PDT

I had already posted this but was deleted because there was a spoiler in the title. Now, i'm not the smartest person out there, but i don't think that the title gives anything away.

Original title: [ALL] What would in reality happen to Jefferson? What did he do and could it be proofed?

    Anyway, here is the post.

Hello everyone, it's me again :)

So, everyone that played the first game and finished it knows what a filthy scumbag Mark Jefferson is.

But realistically speaking, what would Jefferson's punishment and sentence be if he ever got caught? Now, i know that Arcadia Bay is a fictional town in Oregon, but Oregon is however real. So let's just keep it to the laws of Oregon, since every town, city and state has its own rules and laws. Oregon has still a death penalty apparently, so let's assume that's the worst (or best, depending on how you look at it) outcome of his punishment.

But as a side question that is still relevant to the main question: How much can actually be proofed? There are binders with names and photos, but Max and Chloe first thought that it was Nathan who did it. And since there are no fingerprints (Jefferson wears gloves), there is sadly not a lot of things to point the blame at him. Jefferson said that he killed Nathan, "dead and buried", so good luck ever finding his body back. That's meant sarcastic.

And as a third and final question: What did Jefferson actually do? As far as i know, he killed Victoria, killed Nathan, kidnapped kate, kidnapped Rachel, kidnapped Max, and killed Chloe. Are there many more crimes and felonies that i missed?

Thats about it for this post. Im really curious what you know about these 3 questions. :)

[NO SPOILERS] Just as I promised, the fanfiction is now completed. This is dedicated for the people who are feeling grief after paying Life is Strange 2. I hope this helps you move on from the pain.

[NO SPOILERS] I cannot stress this enough. He is amazing. So freaking amazing.

    Posted: 20 Aug 2020 05:49 PM PDT

I'm not simping here but oh my god ever since I first played Life Is Strange 2 I had a huge crush on Sean. First off, I am younger than Sean (13) so I get a pass. No "FBI open up" comments lmao. But oh my god he was just so cool and his voice and just... I--

And when he grew his hair out? He was just so... amazing. And personality wise he was great too. His passion for art and music was so relatable. I also loved how he was such a cool big brother for Daniel. Just... he was amazing. Really great guy, great story, great game, great everything.

    Again, not simping.

[S2] Positives of one of the endings

    Posted: 20 Aug 2020 04:39 PM PDT

I am just curious if anyone who prefers the the lone wolf ending of Life is strange 2 could explain some of the positives and how they came to prefer the alone Wolf ending. I have come to terms with the other 3 endings and can see the other 3 as being relatively happy endings and have come to terms with them. However I struggle with the lone wolf ending and wanted to hear other people's thoughts.
