    I've finished Lis2 and I absolutely loved it but a question remained in my mind: "Why does Daniel has a power?"

    I didn't have anything to think about so I just stopped thinking about it and started LiS: Before the storm and I've just seen that Max was in Seattle before she came back to Arcadia Bay. Daniel also used to live in Seattle.

    I don't know much about the lore of these games and what the community think about it but is there anything that shows where their power comes from? Did something happened in Seattle that gave them a power? I think this might be the best lead we have about it

    Hey :)

    I just watched someone play LiS 1 again and i found something that i missed everytime i played or watched someone play it and it is a quote (sry if the name is wrong, english isn't my first language) on a shirt.

    For some reason now that i saw someone playing it again i looked at that shirt and even if my first language is not english i catched the quote in like 1-2 sec. and had to "rewind" *cough cough* to check if that is really the case and it is.

    Hidden but you can "decipher" what it says.

    It's cool that the developers do these things.

    If you do "decipher" it or if you already knew let me know in the comments below :)

    Hope someone who didn't know already sees this too, i was a bit mindblown xD

    [ALL] Question about James Amber

    Anyone have a guess what happened to him? We know that in the original timeline Rachel seemed to have distanced herself from her parents and that she supposedly lived in the dorms before her disappearance, but did James go to prison or did he remain as the DA?

    Because technically Chloe was the one who tampered with evidence and the man in cahoots with James is dead and I doubt Frank would've gone anywhere near the case considering his background and also since he technically murdered Damon.... and Rachel and Chloe would've needed a lawyer which requires money to technically charge James... who is the district attorney...... shit how does that actually work lmao also I know nothing about law so please excuse the improper terms.

    I prefer Let's Plays that have two people commentating, especially if they're playing the game for the first time. It's so much more interesting to see two people chat with each other and discuss the plot rather than someone just reacting to what's on screen.

    Alternatively, if you know of a LPer that plays by themselves but has a lot to say throughout the game, I wanna know about them too!!

    I'm happy to view any LP, even from more obscure channels or people who didn't like the game. I just wanna soak up those LIS insights. :)

    So I couldn't figure out how to hide in the closet so David caught us. But when i had the chance to say the weed was mine i didn t do that. After all it's really Chloe's weed, why should I get in trouble for it? It kinda rubs me the wrong way that she's actually upset that i didn t take responsibility for HER ACTIONS and she mentions that twice. Like wtf girlie? Its HER weed, isn t it time we start facing some consequences for the dumb shit we constantly pull?!

    I just finished the first game..........

    Last time a had a game that actually made me seriously choked up was bioshock infinite. But this game got me at several points, and I was weeping during the final scene. Jesus. I have some questions for people.... idk dude I still feel choked up

    Right off the bat I fucking loved the chemistry between the two. In episode 2 I got the feeling that Chloe was beginning to like max, and dropping hints quite frequently. The kiss (which I accepted) confirmed it. Naturally I went through episode 4-5 switching from shock to tranquility to confusion to pain. It's retarded I know but idc.

    Chloe is gay right? Fuck Arcadia bay I just wanna see max and Chloe together and I got excited when I learned there was a second game, but it didn't have Chloe or max. Prequel doesn't have max. I know there's a zero percent chance of ever getting a story that picks up with Chloe and max leaving Arcadia and I'm probably gonna stay up till like 1 thinking ab it.

    The gameplay was shit, as were the animations and voiceovers, as well as whoever voiced like a bunch of the characters. But the story and music and imagery were incredible. Frankly this game not only deserves a touch up but an expansion: more choices, larger areas (and less confusing), embracing more of its M rating. Like I always thought that it was kind of dumb that when Chloe offers you a beer you don't accept. Like max is super shy and there's inconsistencies with her character. I wish I had the option to really explore max and chloes relationship in the present, and better romance her as well as break out of Max's shell. One can dream. (Kinda feeling depressed over not getting to further explore their relationship and romance)

    shitty fan-fics will not cut it. Half, no, 75% are seriously fucked up pornos Jesus Christ.

    Anyways wanted to give my two cents and vent about this. Prob still gonna cry the rest of the night

    [ALL] Unpopular Post about Ships

    I'm so sorry but let me just say my piece about this and you'll never hear it again.

    As someone who came from movie/show fandoms that usually analyzes characters and just joined the choice-based game fandom of LiS, I cannot for the dear life comprehend why this fandom is so obstinate when it comes to canonicity and insist that their max is canon when literally nothing about LiS can technically be considered canon because of Max's time powers.

    And by their Max, I meant by this fandom bullying any other ship that isn't PriceField. Yes, I get it, this is PriceField territory, but AmberPrice and GrahamField are just as valid as PriceField is. If we're really going to argue which ship was more canon then it would be pointless because ultimately it just depends on the player's choice for Max for one ship to be canon, which basically erases the definition of what is canon.

    With that said, the only thing truly canon in LiS is the fact that Chloe was in love with Rachel. Yes, she also had an attraction to Max but at that point it can't be considered being in love since she was still supportive of Max and Warren if her flirting wasn't returned. But not gonna say AmberPrice is canon either because they were left ambiguous, but they're still a valid ship because of their history and chemistry together and what they meant for each other, no matter what that entailed in the future.

    And just as AmberPrice is valid, so is PriceField obviously because they also had the chemistry and history together and unlike everyone else, would literally have all the time in the world to keep having that second chance because of Max and the fact that Max was capable of sacrificing the town for Chloe should speak volumes. The same could be said for Warren and Max because she does write about him in her diary and they both do have chemistry as well (I'm not their shipper but to each their own ofc).

    I mean guys really, if we were to use 'canonicity' as a point to prove which ship is more superior than the other, then it'd be endless because it is a choice based game after all. The only canon thing about their relationships is that they had feelings for each other (yes including Rachel) but it's ultimately up to the player whether to act upon that attraction or not but it's still in-character for Max either way.

    It's the same thing with their voice actors. Their opinions may not be canon, but they do know more about their characters than we do so their voice naturally weigh more. Does Ashly Burch saying she sees AP as the romantic ship while PF's the deep intimate friendship mean that AP is canon while PF isn't? No, just like Hannah Telle shipping PF because they're more balanced and contrast each other well while AP was more seemingly well-matched but would amplify each other's negatives, doesn't make the relationship more canon than the other. They're simply validating the ships.

    And at the same time, it's perfectly normal to ship characters who were never romantically involved in canon. That's literally what shipping is. Canonicity has nothing to do with shipping. It's just chemistry. They're still valid ships.

    I admittedly was originally PriceField then converted to AmberPrice, but ngl Grahamfield's the healthier ship out of all of them. At the end of the day it just depends on which dynamics you prefer. Any ship can burn hot but eventually burn out, and a ship can also barely only have a spark but eventually burn bright, and a ship can also realistically be non-linear in that burning aspect.

    No one is obligated to like the same ship that you do just as no one has the right to bully someone for shipping characters different from yours or to shove it down their throat.
