[NO SPOILERS] With the release of True Colors drawing near, I would like to gift a few copies to those financially affected by the pandemic

    Posted: 25 Aug 2021 06:26 PM PDT

I wish I could do this for everyone who comments, but unfortunately that's not possible. What I can do, however, is gift two extra copies of LiS: True Colors to anyone who may not be able to get it on release due to financial restraints such as falling into unemployment due to Covid or any other unforeseen reason. I really have a feeling this game will be great, and I'd hate for someone to miss the chance to play it when I have the means to help them!

    Thanks!

    [ALL] Finally Finished LiS2

    Posted: 26 Aug 2021 12:19 PM PDT

Okay so I LOVED the first game and kinda enjoyed Before the Storm. Chloe isn't a favourite character of mine so I was never going to love it as much as Lis1.

I bought LiS2 when it came out and played a little but it didn't grip me right away so I stopped. Then I tried again and got a bit further but still stopped.

With LiS3 coming up I thought it was about time I played it in full and today I finished.

I really feel it was poor compared to the first and wondered if anyone preferred this one?

I think because LiS took place in a single town and a school that it made the player feel like they were a student there too and I loved all the relationships and conversations you could over hear. Also that it was a mystery with a murderer and guessing who it was then finding out who it was made it more engaging.

I hate racism and injustice when it comes to the subject so LiS2 upset me and made me a little angry. Although it's just a game, this stuff does happen in real life.

I found the endings to be a bit disappointing as well because both endings show that one brother is not doing well. Either Sean spends 15 years in prison and Daniel lives a happy childhood or Sean is happy in Mexico but Daniel doesn't seem to be happy at all.

You don't find out what happens to characters like Cassidy, Layla and Chris either.

I loved seeing David at the commune. I didn't get it was him until he mentioned step-douche and I liked that.

The game design was beautiful. I especially loved the scene in Nevada when Sean was walking alone.

I can't wait for LiS3. I feel it's going to be more like the first one.

[ALL] does the price for LiS - TC covers all episodes?

    Posted: 26 Aug 2021 07:47 AM PDT

Or, apart from that price, I will also have to buy each following episode?

[ALL] True Colors is going to be a rough ride

    Posted: 25 Aug 2021 08:23 PM PDT

I get the feeling some of the major themes of the game are going to be how grief over a loss affects people and moving past it to the life beyond. That's pretty universal and, having gone through something similar, Deck Nine are probably going to shank me straight in the heart.

[All] i wasnt sure about the new life is strange until...

    Posted: 26 Aug 2021 04:20 AM PDT

[All] So i watched the first 13 minutes demo and I gotta say it looks really good, the other gameplay demo we got of the record store was incredibly awkward and kinda boring, I'll have fun with it when I play it but it didnt have many charming moments for me. I was worried this game is gonna suck but then I saw the demo ign put out and I'm actually really excited, I liked that it showed different parts of the town and people, and the music was so good. I'm definitely pre ordering now.

[S2] Sundown Towns and the themes of LiS2

[S1] My friend, at the end of episode two, has managed to predict almost the entire story.

[NO SPOILERS] Do you guys have any theories on how or why these different characters have randomly developed powers and what connection they have to each other?

    Posted: 26 Aug 2021 03:25 AM PDT

I was thinking, Chloe came from Seattle and so did Sean/ Daniel which means there has got to be some sort of link there right? Let me know what you guys think
