    I've been writing my fanfiction, as you do, and been thinking about Max and her charchter / relationships with people. The topic line - spoken by William at the end of Ep 3, has got me thinking.

    In the Main timeline, in 2008 William is killed in a car crash, and then a few days later Max moves to Seattle and has no contact with Chloe (yes I'm looking at you, retcon BtS) until 2013 and the meeting in the Bathroom.

    As Max says - 'she just wanted to settle in first and not be such a shy cliche geek' in the car with Chloe. So all well and good, they make up and on we go.

    BUT...

    In the alt-timeline, as evidenced from what William says, Max did not see them again either - and it can be inferred that she moved away on exactly the same day as before. However we know she did send at least a letter and selfie to Chloe, but still did not get in touch with her when she got to Blackwell (or come visit at any point prior), exactly the same as in the main time line. Chloe 's accident is sometime in 2011, and it's notable that Max does send her the aforemetioned letter - which is better than the main timeline.

    So it seems that in both outcomes - whether Chloe (and Max) is affected by the death of William or not, Max still abandons the friendship.

    Soit would be interetsing to speculate on how Max would feel in a timeline where Max doesn't save Chloe in the bathroom (and with no prior conenction), or Chloe is in the accident and doesn't go to see her before she dies.

    I know this is very random but anyone knows at what hour is it gonna be released? I know it's on september 10th but depending on what hour I'll be able to play it that day or not. And I'm just very excited to do it. I saw that the hour games are released on steam is usually 10AM PST but this varies depending on the developers. At what hours where episodes for past life is strange games released? (for example before the storm which was developed by deck nine too)

    [S1] Max, William and Rachel

    I keep wondering, if Max went back in time and alerted Chloe about the car accident and at the same time saved William, would the future be the same as the alternative, but with William alive and Chloe normal? What if Max asked Chloe to save Rachel, would Rachel be alive and participating in all the events in the game?
