    [NO SPOILERS] Film recommendation: Your Name (2016)

    So similarly to LiS, I didn't expect much after being aware of the premise, but I kept hearing good things about it, so I gave it a chance.

    It's an Anime romance about a boy from Tokio and a girl from a rural town switching bodies on a few days per week, but they'll forget most of what happened during the (to them) dream like switches after the fact. I know, it sounds really cliche, but similarly to "time rewinding high school girl" in LiS, the execution really isnt.

    Both have such a wonderful story, comparable themes of love and friendship, a similar integration of supernatural aspects into a seemingly normal story, heartwrenching twists (looking at you Chloe), absolutely beautiful artstyles that blend 2D and 3D animation (LiS which has 3D art made to look like a painting and Your Name, which is 2D with wonderfully incorporated 3D art), seriously, the art of Your Name is insanely gorgeous, they both have particularly phenomenal lighting, amazing soundtracks, etc, etc.

    To whoever hasn't seen it and loved LiS, likes Anime, or at least animation, or didn't like LiS and doesn't like animation in general (Your Name is very good in it's own right): Watch it if you've got the chance.

    Hi guys i don't have any edit skill and i did try to do but couldn't make it as I want it.
    Can someone edit this scene from LiS:BS around :30 - :40 seconds mark seamlessly for Wallpaper engine, they just sit in the train listening music. And I don't need to music at all i just want them to sit there on my desktop :)

    [ALL] A question about Max and Chloe romance in LiS

    So you only get the kiss scene with Chloe in Sacrifice Chloe ending but i wanted to talk about their realization of their feelings for each other.

    Seeing as that kiss is probably the moment when Chloe finds out that Max loved her in a romantic way i just found it weird there was no conversation about that and Chloe just tells Max to go.

    I just think this is rushed or they completely swept that talk and confession under the rug probably so they don't have to show and discuss it onscreen.Max just threw that on Chloe by kissing her and then got out of there lol.

    I thought Max x Chloe romance had a great buildup but the payoff wasn't there.

    Also about how Warren can get the kiss option without it being locked behind endings if you follow his romance but Max x Chloe is locked to certain ending.

    Also another interesting thing how the two romance stats are Chloe "DARE" Kiss while with Warren has "Romantic" Kiss as the stat.

    Do you think Dontnod was following the strategy of "Having your cake and eating it too" in regards to Max and Chloe romance?

    [ALL]I played before the storm before the original life is strange and I think that playing them that way is still the best way to play them.

    When I first played through the games I accidentally played through life is strange before the storm first. I think this is the right way to play the game because if you play life is strange first the life is strange before the storm will seem like a worse game (because let's face it it is). But if you play BTS first it seem a whole lot better tan if you play it after. It also gives some back story to the relationships in LIS (e.g. how Chloe felt when max left and her dad died and the relationship between Chloe and Rachel). It also makes some of the villainous characters from the first game more sympathetic (frank and Nathan). It also make the reveal that Rachel is dead hurt so much more (maybe even too much). The only thing is that at the of BTS there is a scene that suggests Rachel fate and that could maybe spoil the twist for some one smarter than me.

    [ALL]if they were ever to make a follow up to the original life is strange, which ending would you want to be cannon?

    I have alway thought that it would make no sense to have the ending where Chloe dies in the follow up because one of the thing that made the first game so good was there relationship. But if they decide to kill Chloe's they could make it like max was going through the stages of grieving and she could have dreams, hallucinations and flash back to Chloe like what happen about Chloe's dad in life is strange before the storm.

    What's your favourite moment of all the lis games ? I dont really have a number 1 favourite but I really really like the 4th episode of the first lis (because of the Jefferson thing and just the atmosphere of the episode), my favourite moment of lis: bts has to be that sad farewell episode that genuinely made me tear up over a game for the first time, and my favourite episode of Lis 2 has to be the 3rd episode just because of the general atmosphere and friendships. I only recently finished all the games and I have to say that the first one is still the best, bts was so disappointing and thankfully lis 2 was almost as good as the first lis.
