    [S1] I'm curious about the timeline of Rachel's disappearance

    Since another one of Rachel's birthdays has passed, I've been wondering; just how much do we know about the timeline of events surrounding Rachel's disappearance?

    We know that she attended a Vortex Club party on March 28th. The devs also confirmed that the person who 'changed her life' was Jefferson, so is that when she 'met' him? If so, why would he even be at a party that was apparently happening off-campus? Plus, wouldn't she have already known who Jefferson was at this point since she was still a student at Blackwell? Or did she discover Jefferson long before the party and hung out with him for a while before leaving that note for Chloe, and he just used that party as his cover to finally kidnap her? I mean, we know she was officially listed as missing on April 22nd, which is only a month after the party, so she either got kidnapped that night at the party or some time inbetween.

    Another thing I'm curious about, and this is a little morbid, but how long do we think Rachel was kept alive in the Dark Room before being "overdosed"? There's a six month gap between when she went missing and when she was found/Jefferson moved on to Kate who was the only other victim after Rachel. However judging by the amount of binders in the Dark Room, Jefferson must've been busy prior to kidnapping Rachel since he had only been teaching at Blackwell for three years at most, and I find it odd that he (or Nathan if he was telling the truth) would've killed Rachel so quickly and then waited another 6 months before targetting someone else especially since he made plans for grabbing Victoria/Max less than a week after taking Kate. So Rachel must've been held in the Dark Room for a long time before she was eventually killed, right? Atleast for like 3 months or something, since it just doesn't really make sense otherwise.

    Poor Rachel. All she wanted was to get out of shitty little Arcadia Bay. Instead she got stabbed in the back by her friend Nathan, and tricked by Jefferson who she was probably using as a means to finally escape and achieve her dreams, since presumably Chloe kept stubbornly clinging onto the idea that Max would one day return to her in Arcadia Bay (which she did) despite saying 'goodbye' to Max three years before and agreeing to run away with her. Rachel deserved so much better than what happened to her. :(

    I bought the season pass for Life Is Strange and the description said it had episodes 2-5, but I can't find or download episode 5, and in the game it says "coming soon". Does this mean I can't play episode 5 on xbox 360?

    I just finished Life is Strange 2 finally after putting it off for so long and ALSKDJALKSDJALKDS oh my god the David cameo and all the references from Life is Strange had me drowning in feels. Since I chose to sacrifice Chloe in my first gameplay of LiS 1 that's what I chose for LiS2 so I initially got the walkthrough of the trailer where he calls Joyce and Chloe has died. D: I then looked up all the other alternatives and...

    The version with Max and Chloe on the road together and all the photos in his trailer and the phone call between David and Chloe!!! I just want a version of this story where all of them meet.

    [ALL] finally finished the lis1 and bts and I have some thoughts

    I've seen some people hate on the ending "but it was all a dream" in the case of sacrificing Chloe but I think the game was about much more than the ending the game was really about the journey that the characters went through and that made the saving Arcadia bay ending hit much harder just know the backstory and the journey all the characters went through just really tore me up. BTS was a great prequel I played it before I finished lis which means it gave the ending a lot more weight the play scene in bts and the pool one in lis has got to be some of the most memorable in all the games I've played. Having said this though the actual story of the game seemed confused at times the actual science of the rewind was very confusing however this actually made the game better for me max wasn't sure what was going on either and nor was I I just made the characters story ever more distinguished. The part near the end where you walked past all of the memories while confusing as to why it was happening, hit different it brang back the whole story to me to make the end even more impactful.

    I haven't played lis2 but I'm not really sure how I feel about it the fact that they left Arcadia bay means that the Devs don't associate lis with Arcadia bay but a set of characters with 'super powers' despite what I've heard I'm sure it's good, just different to lis1 and bts.

    As for lis3 idk tell me why looks like it could sort of be a life of strange game it's made by dontnod entertainment who made lis1 and 2. Deck nine games made bts which I loved but I think had a bit more of a mixed reception. As for what lis3 could be about I'm not sure what I want I've not played lis2 so I'm not sure if the character development is any good and if lis3 could pull of a good story or not. while one part of me yearns for more Arcadia bay I've learned that sometimes good story's should be left untouched. Ie who wouldn't love more breaking bad but that memory is better left untouched. I'm not really bothered about the split ending they could continue from one or another and I wouldn't care but sacrificing Arcadia bay could have a story in it them getting into drama wherever they go, but again maybe best left untouched. As for a spin off type one it could be good but still it's going to be a tease and no matter how good it is it's still gonna be just a spin off. Deck nine games did before the storm really well and they haven't made anything else as of lately I also saw they were hiring so maybe something in the works I feel like they would definitely do something Arcadia bay related however if dontnod do it then they're probably going to make a separate story maybe that's what tell me why is 🤷

    Anyways sorry for this wall of text it's Hella long 😉 no matter what lis3 is about or if it even happens when one door closes a window opens... or something like that

    [NO SPOILERS] Localization of the game to Hebrew

    Hi!I am part of a group in Israel that translates quest games for Hebrew.for a long time, we wanted to translate life is strange because he is one of our favorites. then I saw this post of the developers explaining how to localized, I was happy until I realized the game doesn't support Hebrew. So I started investigating how to change the game font files. then I started following the tutorial with these tools, and then saw another tutorial and I got confused. can someone please help me and guide me on the best way to do this? I would really appreciate it, thanks in advance!!!

    [ALL] Does anyone else think Rachel was kind of selfish in BTS? She’s not a terrible person but I definitely think Max cared about Chloe much more than Rachel did.
