    We get it. We like seeing in-game events in real life, and we all like to share in the reference. But making posts like "Rachel's at it again!" or "Uh oh, Rachel's around!" and so on in relation to a real, scary, and deadly natural disaster is in poor taste. All submissions that relate LIS to wildfires, such as the ones currently raging in the pacific northwest of the US, will be removed. Posts about massive hurricanes/tornadoes/cyclones wreaking havoc on towns/people will also be removed.

    (Needless to say, posts about the in-game wildfire are probably fine, but please exercise good judgement with them. They may still be removed regardless on moderator descretion.)

    Eclipses, random snow, beached whales, and two moons appearing in the sky are 100% fair game to make allusions to, but raging wildfires and hurricanes/tornadoes are a different and much more serious deal. Please do not submit posts making light about these by relating those events to Life Is Strange or any of the characters. Thanks!

    I absolutely love the life is strange series, in fact, it's one of the best games I have ever played in my entire life, the story and characters make you feel so attached to the world that when it ends you just feel kinda empty, that's what I love about the LiS series, they know all the right ways to make you cry, laugh, or both. The one that did that the most for me was BtS. Now, I admit, I have not completed LiS 2, right now I'm only on episode 3, but with everything I've seen from dont nod, BtS is by far the most emotionally moving. In the first game, you learn that Chloe was going to run away with her friend Rachel, we know nothing about her other that, and that Chloe loved her. When we discover that Rachel had died, we feel sympathy for Chloe, but it doesn't really affect is the way it does if we would have known who Rachel was. And that's where Before the storm comes into play, throughout the game we see only a fraction of what Chloe and Rachel had gone through together, you see thier hardships, thier friendship, and all. And in my opinion, BtS really succeeded in making players adore Rachel, idk what it is but she just has that personality that you can't say no to, it's even shown in episode 2 "new world order" during the play, and when she asks Chloe to run away with her, the only option to say is yes, and to be honest even if you COULD say no, Rachel's character was so we'll done and likeable, that I wouldn't even have the heart to say no In the first place, but the one who really stole the show was obviously Chloe, if you chose to save Arcadia nay in the original life is strange, you know where she is going to end up, thinking Rachel and Max abandoned her, so it makes you want to have the best time you possibly can with Chloe, and make at least a fraction of her life enjoyable before it all goes down in flames, I personally chose the sacrifice Arcadia bay ending, but I think that a lot more people would have chosen it as well if before the storm was played beforehand, because you really know how she suffered after Rachel died, and don't want her last moments to be in a school bathroom with her thinking everyone abandoned her, but that's just me. Everything about BtS is better than the original, from the writing to the music, no superpowers no rewriting the course of history, just two friends, doing anything they can to help each other out. What do you guys think?
