    [NO SPOILERS] Play Captain Spirit?

    Posted: 14 Sep 2020 09:24 PM PDT

I am new to the series (NO SPOILERS PLEASE) and I just finished LIS1 & Before the Storm. Now I just finished episode 1 of LIS2 and I got a prompt to play Captain Spirit. Do I? I wanna make sure I play each game in order. So with that being said do I play Captain Spirit before episode 2 or should I save it till the end of LIS2?

[ALL] Just realized again how good the characters and the writing in LiS is.

    Posted: 14 Sep 2020 03:49 PM PDT

Hey there, just replayed LiS Before the Storm and the original LiS (in that order) and even though I already knew everything it just hit me again. Right in the feels man. And now, after finishing it, I'm thinking about how strange it is that this has such an impact on me. I mean, Before the Storm in particular is basically just a story about a piss off teenager who hates her moms new friend, likes to rebel and smokes weed from time to time. What she does isn't even that bad, I mean, in my mid teens I've probably done worse shit than she has (except that I wasn't expelled and my dad didn't die), but now the emotions feel really intense and her actions feel harsher than they really are. Somehow it made me feel like I (some 23 years old german dude) can connect to a 16 years old girl from a small town somewhere in the US. Of course a huge part of that is because I already loved Chloe from the original but it still amazes me. She even brings puns that are so bad that you would totally expect them from a teenage girl but after some time you begin to feel even those. It's really like one of five or six games/movies that actually made me tear up a little. So that is that.

And than, LiS, that's in some parts even weirder because I'm so not into all this Hipster ... stuff ... but with Max I actually quite liked it. How she wears it off and how the dialogs are written seems so human that I just can't dislike it. The whole setting is beautiful as well and the soundtrack is spot on so that you feel like you're really there with these characters. But what really opend my eyes on how much I like these characters is the ending and the last choice. I've seen both endings and normally I always do the good or right thing in every game. But here, even though everybody dies and I save only one person, I always sacrifice Arcadia Bay. And somehow, even though you see throughout the last episode how they're all dying, it feels to me like my personal happy end. If a game gives you a bunch of really likeable characters and you let them all die just to save one other character and afterwards you're totally happy with that choice, you know that the writers have done a great job. BTW, I've seen the other ending on YouTube and yeah, I'm so not doing that ... like ever.

But whatever, I felt like I had to write that down. Have a good one :)

[S2] What is the happy ending in your opinion?

    Posted: 14 Sep 2020 10:54 PM PDT

Hey! Now I'm on 2nd episode, but I've spoiled all ending and now fell depressed.

As for me, I can't choose the "happy ending". In "Blood Brothers" ending wolf brothers are together, but they have low moral, I dont think it's good. So, what is the "happy end" in your opinion in Life is Strange 2?

[NO SPOILERS] Any recommendations for two pretty unrelated things?

    Posted: 14 Sep 2020 08:09 PM PDT

Hey, so I was wanting to find a good tattoo artist to get Chloe's tattoo, and I want to stick pretty close to the original. I'd prefer to stay in the US, but I'm open to hear about anyone, preferably with pictures, so if anyone knows of an exceptionally good artist, I'd love to hear about it.

As well, the other thing I wanted to know about is, what's the best fanfiction from the game? I'm open to hear about anything, but slow burn and Pricefield are my preferred categories. I was going to make two posts, but that seems inefficient lol.

I'd like tomorrow's video to be be a Q+A. In the reddit comments down below, ask me any LIS Questons you want. It could be anything about the games. I'll make the video in the afternoon.
