Haven't seen it posted in a couple weeks. Post them here if you want always looking for more LiS fanfics (especially Pricefield)

I recommend the One Way Trip series by u/Novalounge (link below). I've only read part one which I was a big fan of and I know he's still updating part 2, which I plan to start reading soon.

[No Spoilers] Does anybody else here don't necessarily want another game?

    Posted: 13 Nov 2020 12:06 PM PST

It's not that I don't want to see more of Max and Chloe or play another LIS game with a completely new cast but at this point I just feel like the first game was just the biggest stroke of luck that Dontnod could ever pull off.

It's like even in their wildest dreams, the devs did not intend for the game to be this good and succesful.

Something just clicked and not even they know exactly what made the game so impactful but they just rolled with it.

Of course, this can be interpreted in many ways and it might not even be completely true but these are just my two cents on the whole matter.

It's just that with every new release, whether it be a completely new and unrelated game to the LIS franchise, a new LIS game or the comics for instance, I get more and more convinced that we won't ever get something on the same level of greatness again from Dontnod.

I've pretty much been dissapointed (more or less) of both Before the Storm and LIS2.

TMW (even though it's not a LIS game) didn't blow me away either.

Not even the comics, which started off as promising and then went off completely haywire (they did pick up a little in recent issues to be fair but I believe that the damage is already done) managed to stick the landing.

And now with Dontnod focusing on its own little projects, the future of LIS as a franchise is now put on hold for god knows how long.

I just want to know your thoughts on this and if you feel as I do about it.

    Let's agree to disagree!

[ALL] Does anybody know a let's player who played the series for the first time starting with BtS?

    Posted: 13 Nov 2020 07:43 AM PST

I have heard some people choose to play the prequel first, but I've never actually seen anybody do that on yt or twitch and I am curious how it would change their reception of the story. I marked this as [ALL] so if you did it yourself and want to share the experience, you can go ahead. I'm mostly interested in a link to a full playthrough though.

[All] Just finished playing Before the Storm

    Posted: 12 Nov 2020 10:15 PM PST

I first played LIS probably early 2017, that ending made me cry so much. I chose to sacrifice Chloe and it crushed me. I have not played the bonus episode Farewell yet, but I will soon. I finally played BTS now, it was not as good as the first one TBH but it makes you care so much about Chloe and Rachel and it is even more sad when you know what happens to Rachel. I chose to not tell her the truth, but now I kinda wish I did. That montage at the end and the after credits scene makes me sad, I know they are fictional characters but I care for them so much. Now to play Farewell and Life is Strange 2!!
