    [S1] Anyone dislike both choices in the siding with David/Chloe scene?

    David and Chloe are both people damaged by traumatic experiences who can't handle their emotions and have serious social issues (they can't sympathize with others/understand why their own actions are hurting others) and honestly both of Max's choices here are pretty bad choices.

    For one, the argument is a Price/Madsen family issue and it's not really Max's place to step in.

    Also, both parties in the argument are wrong so Max shouldn't be encouraging the wrongdoings of either party.

    David abuses Chloe both physically and emotionally and secretly installs cameras in Joyce's house and the school, invading his family's and students' privacy and breaching his family's trust/abusing his authority at Blackwell.

    Chloe lashes out and uses others as her emotional punching bag, uses drugs to ignore her problems instead of making an effort to solve them, and is self-centered/ignorant of others' needs.

    She's a lot better at controlling these problems with Max, but you can still see that Chloe is abrasive sometimes even with Max being very mild and collected with her.

    The right choice for Max would be to point out both David's and Chloe's wrongdoings, not just one side's, but the game doesn't give you that option, which feels like a big missed opportunity for the character development of everyone. Instead, the game forces you to justify one side bashing the other, and we can see the rifts between the characters that either choice creates. Why can't we play as a mature and responsible Max :(

    [ALL] So I just started playing Life is Strange 2 but it just doesn't compare to the first. :(

    No trolling or flaming, everyone's opinion is valid etc but it didn't really have the charm and the magic of the first. The first got me from like the first few seconds, the opening screen, the music...it was something special. I could feel it in my bones, and very few games get there.

    Maybe it's the subject matter? I can relate to Chloe and Max a lot more, also coming from a dysfunctional family torn apart by tragedy. Also they're from California, where I grew up.

    I'm almost at the end of Episode 1 but I don't feel super inclined to continue. Maybe it gets better as it goes on? I'm looking forwards to True Colors.

    [No spoilers] how many episodes are in Life is strange true colors?

    i remember back when it was first announced, i remember reading that it was 4 episodes and a DLC (possibily on the square enix website but im not sure) but now i can barely find any info on the amount of episodes and the one website that i did said 5 episodes and a DLC. Does anyone know which is true?

    is a cult member. The professional outfit, the pin, the line "then I saw the mountains, met some people and now I'm never leaving" all seem kind of ominous. Cults do tend to form in the back o' beyond.
