[S2 E1] My rewrite for the prologue.

So, I've heard from a good share of people that the incident that caused Life Is Strange 2's plot happened way too fast, and I kind of agree. It wasn't too rushed but it definitely could've been pulled off in more of an.. "establishing" way, like taking place after the party Sean wanted to go to, especially if we get more insight into Sean's character, as well as his friends, such as the ever-so-popular Lyla. This is how I envision it could've played out had it been developed that way.

    * The prologue plays out normally up until the part where Daniel walks outside and gets in trouble with Brett.

    * Sean decides to take a nap (there could possibly be more that could be done to pad time until the night but for now, that's my timeskip idea).

    * It's about ten or so minutes until the party. Sean grabs his stuff and calls Lyla just before she leaves to meet up with him. Last chance for the player to change food/get more money(/TAKE THE BEANIE!! god i miss that)

    * After some time passes, Lyla will knock on the door (alternatively, the player can inspect the front door beforehand and Sean will open it, surprising Lyla; otherwise, she can text Sean that she's outside after enough time passes inside and Sean can open the door before she knocks, giving another alternate scene). Lyla greets the Diaz family and then heads off with Sean.

    * Sean and Lyla exchange more of their playful banter and eventually reach the party. It's relatively packed. Possibly looking a bit like the End of the World Party except less.. y'know.

    * Sean has the opportunity to meet up with his friends and chat with them, much like Max and the Vortex Club members. Lyla will be an AI companion here, much like Daniel, and therefore you can have unique prompts/dialogue for her.

    * After some kind of prompt (possibly going over to a drinks table or something), Sean gets really tipsy and passes out. Upon waking up, he and Lyla leave the party. Lyla says her goodbyes while Sean tries to go back into his house. Unfortunately, he runs into Brett, and spills some of his drink on the latter's shirt.

    * Sean will either try to defuse the situation or instigate (this will be an important decision).

\* Defusing will cause Sean to attempt to talk Brett down and try walking away, but Brett will pull him back and punch him in the face. Brett will continue beating Sean, who refuses to retaliate, until Officer Matthews breaks it up. \* Engaging with Brett will make Sean hit Brett first. They exchange blows until Brett is shoved to the ground and can barely move, making Sean check on him. Officer Matthews arrives on the scene.

    * Matthews will order whoever is still standing to get on the ground, his gun trained on them. Esteban and Daniel rush outside to see what all the commotion is about. Sean will frantically attempt to explain himself to his father and Matthews (also Brett to Matthews if the peaceful option was taken) while Esteban tries to reason with Matthews, inching closer to his son. Daniel rushes to his older brother, which makes Matthews anxious to the point where he accidentally fires his gun and kills Esteban. A traumatized Daniel awakens his power..

Sorry for the wall of text. What do you all think? :3

[ALL] Until anyone can prove otherwise...

I choose to believe that the unseen overlord of the weed operation for which Sean works in S2E3 is none other than Chloe Price. Like she probably got her start filling in the void from Frank's death during the tornado and moved up from there.

[S2 E2] If you look at the newspaper article that talks about the officer who shot Sean's dad you'll see that his name 'Kindred' looks different to the text around it. Did the Devs plan on having a different character as the officer? Madsen? Let me know what you think.
