    [S1 E4] Just a poem I wrote ...

    Posted: 08 Mar 2020 09:40 AM PDT

I've been playing Life is Strange for the first time (on Ep.4 now) so my mental state for the past few days has been … fragmented. I've had a huge influx of ideas to think about, including like 5-6 OC chars I can think about in my empty moments. One of them is a poet/songwriter (cant decide which), who's inspired to write this poem on the morning Max wakes up from her trip to the past. Well that's enough about me, so enjoy the poem. Just a warning, this was a fleeting thought kind of thing, so my organization/rhyming sucks. Sorry. Enjoy.

    There once was a girl,

    a blooming flower,

in a glade of her own,

    and the bushes for cover.

As the sun flew across the sky,

    She could turn and see,

    every flower she knew,

    all so pretty and free.

Her days were spent in joy,

    in laughter and in happiness,

    but then came a long,

    the cruel hand of fate.

    She was violently plucked,

from the life she held dear,

and held hostage in a place,

    where she couldn't leave.

    She was watered,

    she was cared for,

she was given all the love in the world,

but she knew she was wilting.

One day a tree was placed,

    close to her windowsill,

the tree spoke of a life outside,

a life of the future and sunlight.

While the tree was a young one,

and would last for years or more,

    she knew she was wilting,

    and could take no more.

    So she begged the tree,

to block her from the sun,

    so she could finally sleep,

    and end her caged life.

    The tree didn't want to,

    it worried and cared,

    but eventually it gave in,

    and doused her only sun.

P.S Sorry for the flair but poetry is art too.

[S2 E5] Huge flaw in the one of the endings?

    Posted: 08 Mar 2020 04:08 AM PDT

So I got the redemption ending where both Sean and Daniel agreed to surrender to police, resulting in Sean being imprisoned for 15 years and eventually reuniting with Daniel afterwards...

Sean is implied to have been charged with:

    (1) Murdering Kindred Matthews (the police officer who shot their Dad)

    (2) Working on an illegal cannibis farm and then being involved in its destruction

    (3) Stealing the car to escape the hospital

    (4) Burning down the church at Haven Point

They never even hint at a trial. (1) is solved by Daniel simply revealing his powers and explaining the explosion may have been caused by him - this at worst slaps him with a manslaughter charge (assuming a child can even be convicted of that). (2) likely wouldn't have been proven beyond a reasonable doubt considering a letter from Cassidy in ep4 says that the other workers all got released without charges (and its destruction can also be solved by Daniel revealing his powers to society. (4) is solved since Karen takes responsibility for it in ep5. The only real crime Sean did was steal that car (assuming he also escaped the hospital silently) and grand theft auto amounts to a maximum of only 3 years in jail.

I get that not revealing his power contributes to the air of 'mystery' of the series - this isn't exactly the MCU after all. But considering in none of the endings or even anything past ep3 he never seems to care anymore about hiding it: why hide it when it would mean having your innocent brother whom he loves face a murder charge?
