[NO SPOILERS] Just finished the game and feel so empty, sad..

    Posted: 21 Apr 2020 12:50 AM PDT

Finished the game.. I feel so empty.

The moment i first got in to the game, it became my favourite. The story, the intense feelings, friendship, guilt, justice.. This game was amazing, and it really tore me apart in the last decision. I felt intense there.. And learning who the real psycho is, altering the time... I really love this game, and i had my feelings exposed so much by a game.. I really miss Arcadia Bay, and i wish it never ends.. But here i am now.. Sad, empty. Maybe i am like this because of the things im going throught, but.. Wow, this game affected me so much.. Amazing, beautiful game.. It was a nice ride, i miss all of it.. Goodbye Arcadia Bay, Max, Chloe and others.. :( I will miss you all..

[ALL] The ending of episode 3/ first 15 minutes of episodes 4 emotionally drained me (Season 1)

    Posted: 21 Apr 2020 08:26 AM PDT

I don't normally cry but the way Max's face changed from careful hope (after seeing William alive) to almost complete despair as the wheelchair rolled in front of the door, and the follow-up in the next episode...fuck.

The only Chloe you know is this blue-haired, rebellious, angry at the world, sort-of-a-shithead-but-goes-to-hell-for-her-friends character and now all of a sudden she's this shell of a person that was your sweet, bubbly, positive childhood best friend.

Alt. Chloe has much more of a reason to be angry than blue-haired Chloe, but her response to her personal tragedy is an acceptance that is almost morbid. And you can see it in the way she conducts herself with Max.

And you can see her family's desperate financial struggle to keep their daughter alive until her inevitable death despite being almost destitute when you snoop around the house. William's cheerful veneer with the medical bills in his hand, while he chats with Chloe, is heartbreaking.

This is my first playthrough and I just finished the game. I found the ending of E5 very underwhelming and predictable, as did most people, but episodes 3 and 4 were incredible works of emotional storytelling in spite of the shitty lip-syncing and Chloe's cringe dialogue.

I'm glad I bought this game.

[ALL] Life is Strange 2 is less strange than Life is Strange.

    Posted: 21 Apr 2020 09:18 AM PDT

Strange things in Life is Strange

    • Max's powers.
    • The storm/tornado.
    • Spirital animals.
    • Hawt Dawg Man

Strange things in Life is Strange 2

    • Daniel's powers.
    • Hawt Dawg Man (He is in this game too.)

Conclusion. Life is Strange 2 is not really strange but Life is Strange is actually Strange.

    Extraño.

[ALL] I feel hollow and anxious after LiS 2 and just wanted to share

    Posted: 21 Apr 2020 12:02 PM PDT

Soo... Ssiiggghh I finished watching both LiS 1 and 2. Yes, by watching. I know I might lack personal experience by not having the equipments to physically play the game but I wanted to share nonetheless.

I liked LiS 2 more than LiS 1. They both are different in terms of action and dynamics(If that's the right term). I enjoyed LiS 1 because it was strange and full of exciting events and action. There was also so much flexibility in Max's power making the plot more dynamic. But... I still liked LiS 2 more despite many posts saying otherwise and this is just my opinion that I wanted to let out.

LiS 2 simply had a character who had telekinesis and things blew out of proportion. Things quickly went and just goes straight downhill until we reach the end. Simple as it may sound, what I like about it is the realism and the character development they put into it. It was DULL and SLOW but each word for me from the brothers and the people they quickly met by strikes soooo deep into me. Even if their personality seems a bit one-sided at times, I coudn't help but feel the impact of every word they say to each other. Why? Because even if they just say simple phrases to each other, they are realistic and very situational. I was really immersed into the feeling of being a fugitive and having no other choice but to struggle and make ends meet. The older brother albeit suffers much his eñano(?) and make lots of muck-ups, but the fact they understand each other because they NEED TO and because they are the only family left(prior to mom).

It made me feel so very sheltered and that's because, relative to these characters, I am. The struggle to make ends meet just simply crushed me all for their ideal future and escape from all the nonsense they got dragged into.

What also crushes me is that if you take the concept of powers away, some people could be experiencing something similar to this and it just shatters me that it's a possibility.

I am not experienced/knowledgable with the world yet since I am still a kid so I hope this doesn't come as too shallow I just wanted to get it off my chest.

Though the characters aren't real, I still feel pain and anxiety from what they experienced despite the happy endings.

Ps: In the walkthrough that I watched, the ending was Sean getting thrown into jail. I'm still infuriated at seeing the saddest ending as my first ending. I still coudn't grasp the fact that he was dragged into something, was borderline tortured by the physical/mental responsibilities and yet, in the end, gets sentenced to prison and a huge portion of his teenage hood and adulthood was taken from him. I still feel depressed about how he's probably mentally broken about struggling really hard and just not to see his eñano(?) grow up before his eyes.

At least they found peace... Thanks for reading.

    [NO SPOILERS] -- Colorful Chloe

[ALL] I think I found something interesting in season 1

    Posted: 20 Apr 2020 11:25 PM PDT

Ok guys, I don't know if this has already been posted or discussed in the past but here goes.

In chapter 2 of season 1 when you go with chloe to the junkyard to shot at some bottles when you go to the other side of the bus where the camera suddenly pans to the doe there's a "piece of clothing" close to the doe and if I'm not wrong that's where you find rachel's body later. Like the doe stays close to her body (pointing to her being the doe I guess) and that piece of clothing hanging tells you early on where she is since when max interacts with it she says "this was al old school punk shirt". Again, I don't know if this was pointed out already.

[ALL] Unanswered question between Chloe and Joyce Price

    Posted: 20 Apr 2020 09:57 PM PDT

Is no one else bothered that, if you choose to sacrifice Arcadia Bay, Chloe just straight up leaves her mom to die in the storm?

I recently finished Before the Storm + Bonus episode and I've got a lot of takeaways from the game, one of which is the relationship between Chloe and her mother. Chloe clearly loves her mom even with David being brought into their lives. Chloe couldn't handle the death of her father back in 2008 which eventually leads her to rebel and do all these crazy shit, but in LiS she just leaves Arcadia Bay with Max, never even told Joyce about the storm beforehand. So the death of her father, which Chloe never saw coming, is something she carries everyday but the death of her mother, which she could've easily avoided by sending a text, is just something she can look away?

I've already played LiS 1 and 2 the day they came out and as if I can recall this question is STILL not addressed at all. David, in a later episode in LiS 2, mentions her and Max "ran away and never looked back"

Did I miss something? Can anyone explain to me this weird detail the game just glosses over?
