    [ALL] Showing my girlfriend Life is Strange for the first time. Should I start with Before the Storm?

    So my girlfriend enjoys watching me play video games. After the Mass Effect series and Celeste the next game I want to show her is Life is Strange.

    I was wondering if I can begin with Before the Storm? I remember the ending with Amber's phone being spoilery but if you have no idea about the original game would it even make any sense?

    Would then maybe the realization of finding Amber in the first game hit even harder after knowing Before the Storm?

    What do you guys think?
