    I can't believe I didn't get it sooner! There is a reason the Steam reviews are "overwhelmingly positive", only played the first episode of the original but I feel like it's really drawn me in! So the game doesn't seem hard at all, but the amount of decisions you can make give it a lot of replay value! I'm supposed to be streaming all 5 episodes each Sunday of this month as there are 5 Sundays in August but I'm really bummed because I wanna start episode 2 now!!

    [ALL] Who is your LIS 1/2 best boy?

    Which LIS minor character do you like the most?

    (Couldn't include Charles but people that played CS most likely won't vote him)

    Just in case some of you don't recognize all the names:

    Warren Graham - LIS 1 - Cute boy that protected you from Nathan a few times and crushes on you.

    Frank Bowers - LIS 1 - Drugdealer with a dog. He acts dangerous, but after you get to know him, you found out that he loved Rachel and is actually very human.

    David Madsen - LIS 1 - Chloes step-dad. At first, he feels like an asshole, but after all, he is a very caring father and one of the important roles in chapter 5. Small cameo in LIS 2 where he helps you to track the police.

    Brody Holloway - LIS 2 - Neckbeard with a blog. In the first encouter he looks creepy but he is very nice and helped you and your brother escape from Washington.

    Finn McNamara - LIS 2 - Part of the Drifter crew. In a path, Sean can have a little romance with him.

    Jacob S. Hackerman - LIS 2 - After part 3, he saved your little brother and escaped with him to Nevada. You get to know him better and he helps you rescue Sarah and Daniel.

    So, I can't really pinpoint when this started, but Life Is Strange just stopped working. I got this stupid Fatal Error message that makes zero sense to me. I'm not very tech-savvy, but I think it might mean that there are files missing? I've already tested the integrity of the game files, uninstalled it, and reinstalled it TWICE, restarting steam, and closing steam through task manager. Nothing works! I'm about to lose my mind because I just wanna play my favorite game during quarantine :( can someone who's more knowledgable on things like this please help? This is word-for-word what the error message says below:

    [S1][BtS] Finished a replay of LiS1 and BtS the other day and..

    .. I wasn't going to post about this but I can't get it out of my head, guess I had an emotion overload and have been feeling very depressed so I thought venting about it might help me recover faster.

    I have a couple of lingering questions I'd like to start off with if anyone feels like answering:

    1.) What exactly is the timeline for Frank and Rachel's relationship? I can't imagine Rachel was cheating -during- her and Chloe's potential relationship and obviously there wasn't any time after unless something happened in the timeskip. In the scene were Frank and Rachel see each other in the Junkyard they exchange what appears to be a very awkward look which I thought might indicate their relationship happened -before- she met Chloe and they simply decided to keep quiet about it.

    2.) Why didn't Max ever contact Chloe? The only answer I got to this in my playthrough was the beach scene where Chloe said something like "I guess you wanted to avoid awkward conversations like this, huh?" and Max responded with "Yeah.. Pretty much.", does she explain more in depth if you choose another dialogue option perhaps?

    3.) Has there been any official statements as to the true source of Max's powers?

    4.) Lastly, is there any canon material I may have missed outside the games? I heard there was some comics but I've seen a mixed reception and opinions on whether it's ment to be canon or not. Are they worth checking out? Might also ask; are there any reference towards the original game in LiS2 and if so, roughly how many? (spoiler free please)

    I've been thinking about it a lot and (don't shoot me for my opinion please) I really don't think the plot of LiS is particularly strong, honestly 90% of what made it a masterpiece was the characters and how they came alive, I grew to care for them like I would real people which is really powerful. Usually I think you should leave masterpieces alone and not milk them too much or you risk ruining things, but I genuinely hope there's a sequel one day - because the greatest strength is the characters I wouldn't even mind if the sequel were just Chloe and Max's domestic life, lol, I would love to get a happy ending for them which is actually very out of character for me, I tend to feel that sad endings are more memorable and impactful but in this case I just care about the characters too much. Anyway, I just feel like there's more to tell - I'm a pretty thorough and slow player and the LiS one took me about 18 hours to get through, I don't feel ready to let go yet - but I guess I have to for now.
