Time Travel Simulation Shows Quantum 'Butterfly Effect' Doesn't Exist

I am glad on my second and third playthroughs I saved Chloe. And it's kind of supported by the fact that saving Chloe doesn't create a final destination situation after the storm. I mean the storm wipes out Arcadia babe but then everything is super dandy for them and they have a good life and Max opens a studio New York according to the events of LiS2. I mean, I know if you sacrifice Chloe, the storm doesn't wipe out the town, but it doesn't really make sense that the universe would suddenly be healed either. I know that you really can't objectively analyze these types of things, but I really find the quantum study pretty fascinating!

[BTS E3] Fuck Before the Storm

    Posted: 04 Aug 2020 09:34 PM PDT

I'm on my BtS replay, just realized that the only way to have your second D&D session with Steph and Mikey is to let Damon hurt Mikey in E2, and no fucking way I'm letting that happen. Like, just no, fuck that.

Normally, I would just watch something like this on YouTube, like I did with the bad ending of Witcher for example (because who the hell wants to waste a playthrough on that), but with Before the Storm's handling of tabletop roleplaying I actually wanna play that game. Which, on one hand, gives me an excuse to see the Tempest again, but on the other hand fuck getting Mikey hurt... I wish Steph and Mikey were just up to play with Drew lying in that bed.

This is actually shaping up to be harder than the final decision of the game.

[ALL] Opinions about S1 ( and BtS )

    Posted: 04 Aug 2020 05:23 PM PDT

I feel like S1 would be successful with another game which would keep the characters. and it's not an unpopular opinion. Before the Storm was interesting but honestly it revolved mostly around Sera and only a little about the side characters ( like S1 did with the teachers, other students and all ). I consider Before the Storm a game which was rushed and supposed to keep us busy till the release of S2.

Some of the other games continued with the same characters for a while ( like TWD, Assassin's Creed Ezio's trilogy... ) and had success. I assume that S1 should have continued on at least 2 more games, as it left questions unanswered and it's just to keep it a mystery so that the game could continue to live but it would have been better if it explained at least a few of the questions. What doesn't make sense is that Chloe's sacrifice would somehow stop the storm ( the storm however doesn't follow her ), however Max has a vision of storm before even seeing Chloe in the bathroom. I also wonder how Nathan's sister and their parents never felt suspicious about him and the dark room. Also Sean must have known he funded building the creepy dark room, didn't it all seem unusual even to him?

In BtS it sounds that before Rachel met Chloe she didn't even think about escaping but upon meeting her, all of a sudden in a span of 3 days she's all over escaping and it doesn't make sense because she's living the life with the incredible grades, a ' perfect ' family... and she was so obsessed with it by attempting to get everything for the escape ( she even used Frank and I wouldn't be surprised if she really wanted to escape with him without anyone even knowing, because of the letter to Frank she says she can't wait to leave with him, something like that ) which led to her fate. She was probably going to be successful in the future but the escape would have ruined all of that. If they ever did escape, I think it might seem at the beginning as a wonderful dream but as time passes by the excitement and happiness would go away, because they'd realize it's not all about wandering around. I think this question of her escaping was unanswered, and BtS should have pictured their escape and giving up on it because they'd run out of money and stuff, instead of Sera. Sera wasn't even mentioned in S1 ( Chloe already knew about her biological mother ). The Amber family being wealthy, and James being the district attorney, I wonder how they didn't get engaged more into the disappearance of their daughter or consider hiring a private detective if the police gave up. In BtS it seems like Rachel's parents cared about her, especially Rose. Arcadia Bay is a small town, and I assume she would have been found earlier but it sounds like her parents didn't care in S1. She was the only daughter. There are other plotholes but it would be longer to write them. Also about the spirit animal, in Rachel's bedroom there is a sticker on her bed saying ' doe see doe '. Could it be a reminder to the junkyard scene, where the doe watches over Max being the other doe? ( we know Chloe is the blue butterfly ) And could it mean that Max might be a resemblance of Rachel. I'm starting to believe a bit that Max is Rachel. And, I strongly believe Chloe, besides having the blue butterfly, also has the raven as her spirit animal We see it all the time in BtS, and she even wears a raven costume. A raven in some cultures predicts tragedy. Her dad dies, her best friend leaves, Megan ( her friend in the alternative timeline ) ends up in the dark room, ( which could be the reason she stopped going to school and abandoned Chloe ) Rachel goes missing.

What are your opinions about all the inconsistencies and everything else?
