    I love LIS, but I'm struggling to find any more narration, choice, story driven games with a female teen protagonist set in high school/college. I'm also interested in good relationship stories and plots such as shown in LIS.

    Does anyone have any recommendations?

    [ALL] Random details from BtS that aren’t talked about enough

    The LiS one got some pretty interesting details so here's BtS:

    1. Rachel actually almost died as a baby because of Sera's addiction (there's even an unused audio of Sera admitting it. Very intense, shame they removed it).

    2. Max hanged herself in Chloe's *second dream.

    3. Rachel was dead in Chloe's *fourth dream.

    4. Jefferson was set to teach at Blackwell in 2011.

    5. Frank (29 then) was ogling at a 15 y/o Rachel in the junkyard and Rachel looked away awkwardly because a full grown man was openly checking her out.

    6. "Rachel's always made being an A student seem so easy. Almost sad to see all this... effort." - Chloe Price.

    7. Victoria and Nathan were friends even though Nathan was being bullied and wasn't popular.

    8. James was planning to drug and force Sera into relapse long before he met up with her.

    9. Chloe and Frank dreamed of the same big cloud swallowing Arcadia Bay (even tho Frank didn't specify his search about the cloud).

    10. Rachel was into poetry and literature > Chloe to Max: Look at the beat poet here.

    11. Rachel and Chloe's dynamics had a sort of ripple effect on Max and Chloe's dynamics > Rachel/Chloe being dependent on each other for support, Max/Chloe being dependent on each other for support > Rachel regarding Chloe as a hero, Chloe regarding Max as a hero > Rachel giving Chloe encouragement to have more self worth, Chloe giving Max encouragement to have more self worth etc etc

    12. Rachel had friends, but she kept everyone at an arm's length to the point that no one actually knew 'what she's like' or even 'what she's into' except Chloe > "Rachel's surrounded by so much love, yet she seems... so alone."

    13. Rachel and Chloe were almost killed by the same man: Damon and then saved by the same guy: Frank. 3 years later they were/would've been killed by the same person: Nathan.

    14. All the songs in BtS was specifically selected with Chloe and Rachel in mind so there are songs that specially remind you of the girls' fates as well such as Lucky Ones.

    15. The symbolism writing of BtS in general- fire, trees, stars, the play, the junkyard, William's car, the lighthouse at the end, that awful after credits ending just omfg this game's writing and composition was tragic poetry at its finest.

    Pretty sure there's more but I centered it around Rachel and Chloe this time. If you guys have anymore just add them on.

    I honestly disliked Rachel Amber in BTS.

    Yes, she has a interesting concept and a big hype from the original LIS to fill but... She disappointed me.

    Rachel on BTS was really uninteresting and whiny. D9's narration also didn't help - they decided to force this "everyone loves Rachel, so you players should too" game down our throats. Looked stupid.

    The narration made sense in LIS, but in BTS-only setting, l failed to understand why she was whining and crying so much. She was adored by everyone and had ACTUAL loving parents at home.

    Rachel was willing to throw this all away because she met some girl she knew for one day and some junkie who abandoned her for 15 years, and is only clean for 1.

    Also didn't help that she was manipulative and whining about her horrible life nonstop, while in reality, her life was rainbows and unicorns compared to Chloe and Nathan's life.

    I think this is where BTS failed her.

    So... Who is your choice?

    Both games are on sale on Xbox, and I'm considering buying one. If you've played both, which game did you enjoy better? I generally enjoy heart wrenching games, if that helps 😂

    Edit: I just realized Before the Storm is also on sale. Should I begin with LiS and then consider getting the rest?

    So i read on a site in My country that a user on some media have predicted a lot of games annocements and every single one in the LIS franchise. The user predicted news in the LIS very soon and allready this spring. Do any one know anything about a new release?
