    My brother is in a Game Design school in Paris (ISART), and we had an interesting debate on which was better: LiS BtS or 2. That led to a vote with all the students from his school to know which was preferred. The results where quite interesting and a theory about peoples favorite characters in the first game was created to explain the results.

    So to help with our study, here it is ! What is your favorite LiS 1 character ? If I've forgotten someone, pls answer in the comments (I won't be able to add enough options to the poll).

    [All] Why I believe Max and Chloe shouldn't be in Life is Strange 3

    So, in my opinion, the right choice is to sacrifice Chloe and save Arcadia Bay, but this post isn't about that. It's about the choice you had to make at the end of season 1. Giving the players a choice and seeing that choice referenced in season 2 gives a lot more meaning to your choice, but if both Max and Chloe show up in LIS3 then the player's choice from season 1 no longer matters. Taking that choice away from players would ruin all subsequent replays of the 1st and 2nd games... All this goes the same for Sean & Daniel. If they want to reference the previous games they should have a photo Max took be featured somewhere or have the Diaz brothers be on the news.

    Anyways that's just my opinion. Feel free to tell me what you think in the comments below?

    I don't think I had ever heard of it until a few days ago. I went and read the first issue and wow I am hooked. For those of you who haven't heard of it, it takes place after the Arcadia Bae ending. I won't spoil anything, but it definitely does a terrific job of continuing Max and Chloe's story in a hauntingly accurate and tragic way.

    There's sixteen issues so far and there just isn't enough. I highly recommend at least checking out the first issue. I don't think you'll regret it. If there are any fans of the comic that want to discuss things, please use spoiler tags for those who haven't read them yet.

    [ALL] What story moment in LIS games made your blood boil?

    I think it was the BTS's Well's office scene. Like, Chloe and everyone around us tried to convince us that it wasn't the Golden Princess who was at fault at skipping school, and it was not her idea.

    Sorry, bullshit. Rachel didn't need, but dragged Chloe along anyway, costing her scholarship and potentially expelling her.

    And also - the "good back talk choice" is having to take the blame for Rachel and getting expelled?!

    No. Just no. Rachel was the mastermind behind the plan. Rachel dragged Chloe in her mess. Rachel burnt that tree, so Rachel can enjoy being punished.

    [ALL] What relationship theme do you hope LiS3 to mainly have?

    I realized that the reason I mainly connected with LiS1 was because it was mainly about friendship and love. While yes you could interpret it as romance, Max's relationship with Chloe could also be interpreted as a best friends relationship, but there's also the friendship theme with Max and the rest of her friends.

    For BtS it was more of going towards friendship turning into romance and family, which is still similar to LiS1 so it wasn't that different for me.

    But in LiS2 it became more of brotherly love, which I can't relate at all because I don't have a sibling to relate that theme to. I think that's why I couldn't really get into the game that much, aside from my complaints regarding the writing and story. It didn't really focus much on the friendships either considering how they really kept jumping places.

    For LiS3 I'm hoping that it'll go back to the friendship theme honestly because that's just a really universal theme that most people will be able to relate to.

    What are your thoughts?

    [ALL] (OPINION BASED DISCUSSION) Do you guys think that we will be seeing returning characters from Lis1 and Lis2?

    I think that it'd be awesome to have returning characters from the prev games even if its short like david. It gave us the nostalgia and brought our hopes up after we realized that he was alive. Here are some characters that we could (possibly) see in Lis3 in my opinion.

    -Sean and Daniel? (Seeing them might rely on their current status and fates)

    -Max (with Chloe if you picked sacrifice Arcadia bay)

    -Karen, with different dialogue depending on the fate of Sean and Daniel

    -The Reynolds (They will also mention the fate of Sean and Daniel)

    -Brody, I would personally love to see this character return and possibly play a major role. He was such a nice guy but we only got to know him for a little bit :(

    -Jacob, maybe along with his sister. It would be interesting for him to mention that Sean gave all of his money to him.

    -Rachel amber? (It would be pretty interesting and confusing if Rachel's death was somehow faked but she never got the chance or wanted to go back to Arcadia bay)

    -Love interest of Sean? (This will be determinant as it is up-to Sean to decide who he wants to love or if he wants to love anyone at all, So either Cassidy or Finn. It will also depend on the fact on whether Finn survived throughout S2E03)

    -Joey (Will mention if he helped Sean or how Sean escaped if he didn't, he will also mention if Sean knocked him out forcefully.)

    Any other characters let me know!

    [S1][BTS]Lets talk about LiS and BTS

    I just finished BTS yesterday and LiS a few days ago(I might play 2 but idk im not rlly ready to leave Arcadia bay and the characters behind), I played it to sort of fill that void after I finished TWDG cause I was missing a game with that emotional attachment. I found that attachment in LiS and BTS as well but, now they're gone. I realize it might be stupid sounding for me to be attached to fictional worlds like I am lol but basically what I'm posting this for is so I can talk about LiS and BTS. Talking about the games and characters is fun and makes me feel less sad about them being over so I just want to know where u guys stand. Do u like LiS and BTS or not and why? Personally I rlly liked them both. The mystery, the characters, Arcadia bay as a whole was just great. But I wanna know where u guys stand and just have a discussion about the two games. Feel free to ask me any questions about how I feel abt something relating to the games I'll talk abt anything in them.
