    ... Well started isn't right anymore as I've just finished Episode 2, but didn't have time to post before.

    I'll make this one short and surely do a bigger post when the whole game will be done, but so far I really like it. LIS truned out to be one of my favorite game of all time due to it's story and characters, so I had some great expectations for BTS. Which most of them are set.

    The music is still awesome, technicaly the game is far better (nicer, better lip animations) and even if se don't have the time mechanic, Chloe's backtalk system is fun. the new characters are good and some stood easily out like Steph or Damon.

    I was really curious to play this one for Rachel, the character was barely touched in LIS 1, yet it leave some serious mark in the story. I hoped that the game would show us more about her and I'm not disapointed. Yet to be quick some details are still missing, and I didn't finish the game yet, but for example I choose to fallow the Chloe & Rachel love story side of the game and it really, but REALLY never make sense for Rachel to have a relation with franck. It was already very dumb to me in LIS 1 when you listen Chloe about how Rachel was... But now in BTS it just make even less sense.( the one with Jefferson does in other hand) the Grifities in LIS1 who most of the time were gross or agressive to Rachel never make sense either, as "so far" Rachel is clearly showed as someone nice (even caring for Nathan!!) and never as a "sexually reckless" character like the tags where sounding.

    Will finish the game soon, along with the bonus episode, and make better complete post about it. The only complains I may have, is some small technical flaws (like the animation when Victoria fall after the dosed tea) and some inconsistencies, when it comes to events orders, or characters relations that makes me event think sometimes "did deck nines teams played LIS 1??" but well, nothing dramatic or that would ruin the experience.

    [S2 E1] LiS 2 initial thoughts

    Playing LiS 2 for the first time. I got it in the PlayStation sale last March. I came in with low expectations because of mixed reception online, but so far I'm liking it. I find Sean and Daniel quite endearing, actually. The first part with the party prep and the camping was definitely draggy, but despite the length it was a cute way to establish the relationships between the characters. I felt sadder when their father died because I made sure to interact with most of the things in the world.

    I'm in the part where Sean and Daniel get in the journalist's van. Let me tell you my anxiety while playing this game is something else. Every moment feels like I'm waiting for the next bad thing to happen. I know many gamers didn't like LiS 2 because it's "political" but I actually appreciate the social context. All the choices seem to have more gravity as compared to LiS 1 where the world felt...less real, somehow? The way I'm playing an underage Latino fugitive in a racist country while trying to protect my brother because our dad got shot by the police makes me overthink the decisions so much more. I didn't feel the unease with decision-making as much in LiS 1 (well in the beginning at least) and I like that the decision-making in LiS 2 feels much more stressful because of the possible long-term consequences.

    Don't get me wrong, LiS 1 will always have a special place in my heart–Max and Chloe are my favorites. But I'm looking forward to where else Sean and Daniel will take me :)

    Sorry to beat a dead horse, but after the recent trailer I've been jonesing for some LiS.
    Any recommendations for some good let's plays?
    Only LiS 1 and BtS please, I still haven't gotten LiS 2 - I do wanna play it I just can't get it atm.

    I'll add my own recommendation of a really good let's play below as well, which I enjoyed.

    [ALL] what songs could fit in LiS?

    Was listening to the velvet underground and came across "after hours" which was released in 1969 (wow), I thought it could fit really well in LiS 1, so the search for other life is strange-type songs started haha

    I find LIS 2 to be really unrealistic at times.

    Okay so this isn't a hate post. It's just my opinion on some unrealistic scenes/stuff. So first off: Episode 4. Lol. So I find it unrealistic that A One eyed teen who escaped a hospital the night before and got beaten up by racist ppl can walk miles. Doesn't make sense. Well the whole episode doesn't either but it's still good lol. I find it unrealistic that the Brothers blew a hole in the Mexican border also. I get Daniel has powers. That doesn't make sense either but that's excused since that's what lis is. Don't hate on this please. It's just to discuss these scenes mainly and my opinion on them
