[ALL] The light that follows Pricefield and Amberprice.

    Posted: 06 Jul 2021 01:12 PM PDT

I haven't been in the LiS world for that long for I only finished playing the games for the first time a few months ago but I've seen a lot of the divisive opinions on which "ship" is better and a lot of times it ends up with the idea of having to dislike one in order to like the other.

But I'm curious to see the two relationships be compared/contrasted by their positives instead of their negatives.

I think both relationships have lots of positives that make them unique and feel so real.

Max and Chloe are a healthier pairing in the long run based on what we see in game. They balance each other out in a way. One brings confidence while the other brings a grounding force. Each have something to give to the other. It's very transactional which is why it works. Their relationship has transcended timelines, so they always find their way back to each other. They're connected in this way.

Chloe and Rachel have their own set of positives that make them so great. They're definitely more controversial than Pricefield but I absolutely adore Amberprice. They represent the tumultuous time of being a teenager. Their love burns fast and intensely. They're cinematic yet they feel so genuine. They're each other's once in a lifetime person. A once in a lifetime experience that each of them would carry forever. They loved each other when they felt like no one else did.

Each ship carries their own unique light in the darkness.

All of these opinions are obviously my own. What about you guys? What are the positives of each ship in your eyes?

[ALL] I' am not gonna change my decision

    Posted: 06 Jul 2021 10:53 AM PDT

So, I don't usually do this, but this life is strange series [1 and BtS] has carved itself a special place in my heart. It was only two weeks earlier that I started playing LiS 1, I had no idea what I was getting into, and at the end of it, I wanted more. So, luckily, I had somehow managed to play the series in the generally agreed correct 'playing order' i.e. playing LiS 1 before BtS, even though BtS is a prequel, and I kinda don't agree with the approach, but this is not why I' am making this post, so I will not discuss it further.

So, spoiler alert :- I saved Chloe by sacrificing Arcadia Bay, and I was kinda having mixed thoughts about the choice I had made. As I was gonna play BtS, I thought I would come back to LiS 1 again after finishing it, and replay the episode, if I wanted to change my choice i.e.

I just finished the bonus episode[Farewell] of btS, and after seeing first hand how Chloe was 'abandoned' by Max [it wasn't her choice, I know] after her Dad's demise, I just couldn't 'kill' her. Fuck that, I would sacrifice the entire human race to save chloe[jk], if it ever came to that.

I know you are probably thinking how selfish I' am to sacrifice so many people just so I can let my one favorite person live, but I just can't..... do it. It really would make me depressed to sacrifice Chloe, especially after everything she's been through, all I want is for her and Max to ride forever on a road that never ends.

So yeah, I guess this is where I end my rant and I would like to hear what you guys think, over and out.

    [S2] Question About The Grandparents

    Posted: 06 Jul 2021 07:42 AM PDT

How exactly did they get away with not being charged for harboring fugitives?

I think in all 7 endings they face zero convictions, never mind never having charges brought against them (did it even get past the Beaver Creek PD, or did the BCPD hush it up in house?).

I tried to protect them as much as possible, no computer, no calling Lyla, and didn't even talk to the vendor who asks about their connection to Charles and Chris (though he saw them anyways as his dialogue shows if you do approach him, and is presumably the one who rats to the police).

I was wondering if there was something I missed regarding how they were treated by the govt/justice system. Was it simply because the grandkids were gone from the house, no proof, just that one vendor's word? Or was this part of the "deal" to have the govt monitor Daniel, since they'd be interested in his telekinesis?

Also, kinda pissed you can avoid the vendor, not use the computer nor the phone, and still have the police alerted and come to the house. Makes ya feel like a shitty grandkid and that it doesn't matter what you do in terms of choices... who the heck wants to possibly have old people thrown in jail for being kind?

[NO SPOILERS] Should I have my sister play the games in chronological order?

    Posted: 06 Jul 2021 04:31 AM PDT

My sister hasn't played any of the games and I was thinking about having her play the Farewell episode then Before the Storm, then Life is Strange. Would this be a good idea?
