    Good morning to the Arcadia Gays, Wolves, Punks, Captains, and whatever other nicknames the fandom pockets have given themselves.

    It's launch week for True Colors! If you haven't been screaming, you can begin so now. As we descend into madness waiting for the launch, here's some stuff you should know:

    1. True Colors spoiler tags have been added. You can find them on our spoiler page, but here they are:
      1. [TC] for spoilers for the whole game
      2. [TC E_] for spoilers for a specific episode/chapter (fill in the number)
      3. [TC WL] for Wavelengths spoilers.
    2. We will be very stringent on enforcing these, so if you want to be sure your post uses the right spoiler tags, using [ALL] or [TC] is a safe bet.
    3. Remember to keep spoilers within the scope of the post when commenting! If you need to talk spoilers in a thread that is marked [NO SPOILERS] or your spoilers are outside the scope of the post, new Reddit has a handy thing for this in the text editor but old Reddit must use markdown code. Check the spoiler page for said code.
    4. Keep your titles vague if needed! Spoilers are not allowed in post titles and we will be erring on the side of caution for the upcoming release.
    5. No True Colors spoiler posts will be allowed until the game launches. Please don't post them. We'll be sad.

    When the review embargo lifts, we'll be posting a masterlist of reviews and pinning it. When the game proper launches, we'll also be posting and pinning a general discussion thread. As before, this thread is to be used for any general impressions, thoughts, or reactions, and spoilers will be unmarked in it. If you want to avoid spoilers for sure, we'd suggest avoiding that thread until you're done.

    Only a few more days until we can walk the streets of Haven Springs and enjoy the rustic, vaugely-weed-tinged air with Alex and the rest.

    The game doesn't list anything on steam and it's 3 days until the game releases. It's a bit unusual for pc specs not to be announced by now or well at least posted to steam. Does anyone have an idea of what the pc specs are for recommended?

    [No Spoilers] Does anyone know the name of this fanfiction?

    So I posted this a couple of years ago on my old Reddit account and didn't get much response. Maybe I dreamed this fanfiction, but I want to try again in case anyone recognizes it.

    The story is Max sacrifices Chloe and of course, regrets it and spends a lot of time with Joyce and David. She eventually confides to David about her time abilities, and he believes her. Max goes back in time to the bathroom, and David sacrifices himself to save Chloe. The story was exceptionally well written; the author may have deleted it. I remember it being a one chapter, one shot. Does this ring a bell for anyone?

    I just preordered the ultimate edition but saw that the remasters got delayed. Will I still be able to play true colors on the 9th, or do I have to wait till next year since those 3 come together and 2 are delayed?

    Romance options aren't treated equally in LIS games where the devs are quite biased in favor of females options. Unlike the romance options in Telltale the Walking Dead, they both are balanced. I become worried about Ryan that the devs and the community may treat him like Warren and Finn or worse.. Elliot.

    In LIS1, Chloe clearly gets more screentime than Warren. Warren was often being downgraded by the community, even though he literally fought Nathan twice, helping Max with his photo, etc. I can't believe he and Samuel were pitted in the same level with bad men like Jefferson and Nathan during the nightmare sequence part. I only find him creepy when he photoshops a picture of him & Max and spying Max through the window but I doubt he could see Max from that distance and angle since he's on the ground floor, while Max's on upper floor.

    In LIS2, the biggest turndown of romancing with Finn is you need to accept the heist which affects your high morality approach. Even though high morality ending with Finn is possible, using a 9 year old child to rob is pretty messed up thing to do. Meanwhile, the devs also gave more moments with Cassidy than Finn's and Cassidy didn't seem to have her own flaws.

    It would be a huge turndown if Ryan gets the same treatment as Warren/Finn, or worse if he turned out to be a bad guy. Plus, Steph had a clear advantage since she's a recurring character, meanwhile Ryan is fresh new.

    [ALL] Update on previous post.

    My clan mate has been working on a fic Life is Strange: Light Bearer, a Life is Strange x Destiny mashup set in Destiny's time as well as the LiS Timeline during the events of LiS and has a 3rd scenario to the ending, so we'll see an outcome that isn't bay or bae. If there is a specific date for fanfic postings it will be on the nearest one to now and if there is no restrictions I can link it tomorrow. She is making this episodic to gel with the LiS vibe and has 5 parts starting with Life is Strange: Light Bearer Pt. 1 Awakening.

    Tagged as spoilers because this flat out recaps BtS and LiS storyline before branching out several hundred years in the future.
