I've thought of reading the comics now a good bunch of them are out, and I was thinking if they are someehat fulfilling for a Pricefield person (which I guess a lot of people interested in the comics are, for the arc it follows) or if it will be kind enough to break me.

    [S2]What is everyone’s problem with Daniel?

    I've played Life is Strange 2 multiple times and I've only grown to love that game more and more and it's characters get equal treatment. I loved Sean and Daniel, definitely more than Max, Chloe and Rachel. I've stalked this reddit and I've seen more than enough people rant about how Daniel is this annoying shitbag? What made you hate/preferably love him?

    The main thing that got me to buy the 1st LiS, was the soundtrack.

    Now I've played the 1st game twice, and im considering a 3rd playthrough, and i'm trying to find more music with the vibe from life is strange. I've found a couple bands (Tall Heights, Paper Kites) but I feel like there'd be a lot more music with that certain vibe. If anyone could share some songs or bands in the comments that'd be great!

    [S1] Here's my problem with LIS

    I hope to give my full opinion here as briefly as possible, so you don't have to read through a book.This is not a review.

    My background, as far as game experience, is pretty much all TellTale games, as well as Quantic Dream games ( Heavy Rain (2010), Beyond: Two Souls (2013), and Detroit: Become Human (2018). )There are some other decision based games like Until Dawn...I'm telling you that so you understand I didn't come here to just rant about LIS, because I consider this game to be actually better than almost all of the ones I just listed.

    This game was huge surprise to me, as I avoided playing it for a long time. I played first two episodes about 3 (?) years ago, and It left me impressed, yet bored. That was also due to the fact I wasn't able to save Kate at the time and it really bummed me out.

    To the problem.

    The story doesn't seem complete. Maybe It's only my opinion, and if that's so I understand (that's why I come here, to the community). I'm not gonna waste time telling you all my decisions, but I will tell you how I ended my story.In my eyes, if you don't choose Chloe over the city, the entire game was almost pointless. Even the city being in the situation was because we wouldn't let her die at least... what... 4 times?The fact that we end with them leaving the town seemed like a good ending to me, I was satisfied with it and I don't regret the decision.However, realizing second season doesn't follow the two made me really... confused.The story just doesn't feel complete at all. Max just made a big decision, and had to live with her gift now. That seems like a story I would really want to see.We don't even know exactly how many decisions we altered in the last minute of the game (after the dream sequence). I felt a little let down, because knowing there's season 2, I was in anticipation of some closure.

    I'm aware there's some sort of comic novel that follows the characters as well. I do plan on getting my hands on those.

    I want to end this on little better note. The game was the most unique decision experience I've ever seen. And even though the story was heavily invested in a school drama, I was still able to enjoy it a lot, and that was the biggest surprise. So please don't go assuming I hated the game, if anything I'm hungry for more, to the point of being annoyed by it.

    So havent played a LIS game since ep 2 of LIS 2, and i thought I was totally over my PLiSD, i didnt need to come here for my fix every day, anyway, was watching TV and on some programme i hear the music from the ending cutscene of BTS and holy crap that was a hit of emotion.

    Really want expecting that after all this time

    [ALL] Max Vs Rachel? Those who have played BTS and LIS1 how would you compare?

    Have those that shipped Pricefield played before the storm? Cause after all of that you really see how much Rachel meant to Chloe and why there is such a strong attachment in Life is Strange 1...

    I love each character in their own way with BTS showing the best bits of Chloe, Nathan (don't kill me) and surprisinglyFrank being nice. I always wondered when playing life is strange 1 what this major deal with Rachel was, and now I see Rachel and max as equal in importance. Or actually tilted either way.

    Seeing what happens to Rachel at the end of BTS in a lil added scene. Even though you KNOW what's happening was so dark and upsetting

    I was wondering what people think after playing both sort of comparing max to Rachel?

    Thoughts on the situation?
