[ALL] Life is Strange has changed my life.

    Posted: 15 Jun 2020 07:46 AM PDT

Fuck.. where do I begin? I watched pewdiepie play it back in 2015 I think? I watched him play one episode, then went to the store the next day, and I love love love telltale, the walking dead, the wolf among us, fantastic! But life is strange? There is no game that had connected me more DontNod did an interstellar job. I dont remember much about the first game, but it was thrilling from beginning to end.

Life Is Strange 2 This game made me laugh, it made me smile, it made me feel guilt, it made me cry. God this game hurt. I grew up alone, I never had a little or big brother. So I took this game on a personal level, every single episode made me think, it made me feel some sort of sadness wishing I could have a bond like that, seeing them blossom. I absolutely love that a game can delve into my emotions like that, my ending was I chose to surrender, and Daniel complied, after Sean got out of prison, and the met, I was crying the whole way through, it destroyed me, but for some reason it was nice? Being able to feel.. all of that. I had never heard of melancholy hill by gorillaz before, I listen to it frequently now. And I think about Daniel and Sean when I do. It made me put all my relationships into a perspective. When i was younger I always wanted to run away and escape my stepfather, and never turn back.

This is easily my top 3 favorite games. It hurts knowing theres no good (to me) ending.

But at least they both lived.

DontNod (fixed it) you made me cry like a bitch, Well fucking done. This was an absolute masterpiece

[ALL] What are your views about Rachel Amber?

    Posted: 15 Jun 2020 11:55 AM PDT

Hello guys, so I recently finished playing BtS and finished LiS a few before that and now that I can piece the story together, I would like to know your views/theories about Rachel.

I've watched a lot of theories on her and found many interesting ones in the process, but let's keep it away for a moment.

What do you honestly think about her? Was she actually using Chloe for her own benefits? Was Eliot right about Rachel being Manipulative?

I mean it's established that she had "more than friendship" relations with 3 people other than Chloe in Frank, Mr. Jefferson and Nathan(?). What if she used Frank for his drugs and the fact that he had a RV that she could use as an escape vehicle? It's also well established that she wanted to be famous and also wanted to be a model, maybe she used Jefferson for that and ultimately Jefferson was too clever to be played around with and he ended up killing her. I don't know what could be her reason to link up with Nathan, maybe she knew that Nathan was very mentally vulnerable and he could be used for something.

I am not saying she was using Chloe for anything, I am sure she cared about her, but She lied to Chloe about a lot of things. Let's keep that in mind

I apologise in advance if I end up upsetting Rachel fans. But this is what I think and I would love to hear about your views :)

[NO SPOILERS] This game ruined all other games for me.

    Posted: 14 Jun 2020 02:26 PM PDT

I just beat the first game about a week ago and literally can't stop thinking about it. I haven't been able to play any game since. Every game I play feels like it tries too hard to have a story, where LiS didn't have to try at all. After I beat it, I felt like I said goodbye to an old friend. I felt very empty inside and got post game depression pretty badly. I made a YouTube video about the game trying to see if I spent a lot of time talking about the game, I'd eventually get bored with it. It's worked before, but not this time. Does anyone else feel this way, or has felt this way?
