[ALL] Going to do an oral presentation of LiS 1, what are the most important things to say ?

    Posted: 02 Nov 2020 09:49 AM PST

So in my oral class we need to do a presentation on whatever subject we want and im going to do it on Life Is Strange (the 1st game) i was planning to build the presentation on three parts :

    1. Short resume of the game (story, main characters etc...)
    2. Short analysis (this is where i don't know what to say, i mean, i have some ideas but any help will be appreciated)
    3. Asking the class on what they would have done if they were Max at the end of the game the final choice between Chloe or Arcadia Bay

The presentation must last 10 minutes, no more, no less. Thanks for your help ! :)

[S2] Why do you love Daniel?

[No spoilers] I'm 14 and I have played life is strange...

    Posted: 02 Nov 2020 01:50 PM PST

Yes I am 14 and I have played lis and my brain got "fucked up" in the last episode (if you have played it you know what I mean) I did not cry any time but it got sooooo fucking emotional every time something happened. And I don't recommend anyone under 16 to play it cus I did not feel "good" after playing it's i had bad times sleeping not cus it was "scary" or anything I just think alot about it so yes I should not play it from the beginning and it's good that it's pegi 16. The game is so well med and the story is fantastic but every episode I played I felt shit after when I think about what happened. That's really all I have to say...

[S2] LIS2 is 60% off so I finally bought it... I am completely blown away.

    Posted: 01 Nov 2020 11:41 PM PST

I just played through the first episode. It's bedtime now, but goddamn my nose is pouring and my cheeks are wet and salted over. I ugly cried at the beginning, several points throughout, and of course at the end of the episode.

As a bit of a self-reflection--... The story has a sort of mirror to my own life in some aspects. Daniel is young, and right around the age of my little sister. I'm 17, myself. I haven't gotten to see her in about a year because my 'father' is a narcissist who's set on ruining everyone's lives, including mine. He won't let me see her. We used to do all the same sorts of small-talk and fun, goofy moments just like Daniel and Sean... it reminds me of all those moments I've come to find myself taken for granted. It's why I cried so many times. That heartbreak, that close bond between siblings. I've made sure every single thing I do as Sean is for Daniel's sake. I will never lie to him. Goddamn, I just wish that could carry over to my life...

Arcadia Bay dreamin', I'm Tayler Caulfield. Goodnight, everyone.

[ALL] Which Chloe do you like more?

    Posted: 02 Nov 2020 04:41 AM PST

    DontNod Chloe (LiS season 1)

    or

    Decknine Chloe? (BtS)

Personally, I prefer Decknine Chloe. Her character design is better, she's less angsty??? I guess?? And much more loveable. Though both Chloes are amazing.

[S2] Does anybody else absolutely hate Daniel?

    Posted: 01 Nov 2020 02:29 PM PST

This is kind of a rant about Daniel and talking about my experience with this game.

I got the first episode of the game for free and i got really hooked so i brought the entire season.

It got up to about the second episode where i started to really despise Daniel and considered to stop playing because he was so annoying but i kept playing. Sean and his grandmother told him MULTIPLE of times to keep a low profile but he decides to go over to chris's house to play AND go to the Christmas market where they would inevitably get caught. I don't think and hope any 9 year old in real life is so amazingly stupid and bratty to rebel against the rules in a situation what they were in.

I understand kids have their moments and don't always listen but Daniel is literally a different breed of annoying and entitled. He didn't listen to anything i said to him ONCE in my entire gameplay. When Sean got angry at him for not listening and for having to repeat himself again and again he would get angry and call Sean a bad brother for constantly telling him what to do but he had to because he NEVER listened.

In episode 3, Sean told him to stay where he was and to NOT go anywhere. Not even 3 minutes later Daniel gets caught in the guys office and gets everyone in the camp kicked out of the business.

Daniel only thought about himself the entire game and what HE wanted. He was definitely a brat IMO.

He ended up getting my Sean killed in the final episode, he wouldnt let him surrender and took matters into his own hands by forcing the car through the border. I know the game is based around Daniel and his powers but it almost felt like EVERYTHING i did was based around Daniel and not around Sean.

Its a shame because Sean finally really grew onto me and Daniel just got him killed.
