I'll start by saying that I'm a huge fan of the games, but I don't understand what Square Enix is doing.

We can't buy a physical copy of the deluxe or ultimate edition for True Colors, only Standard edition. For those who don't know, the deluxe edition ($70) comes with DLC to play as Steph and the Ultimate edition ($80) includes that plus Life is Strange and Before the Storm Remasted. The best versions are digital only for whatever reason.
No physical release for Life is Strange with Before the Storm Remastered and it releases AFTER True Colors (September 30) when these games should really be played BEFORE True Colors (September 10) to properly follow the story. Also won't be on PS5 or Series S/X for whatever reason. Still forward compatible obviously.
No LiS2 remaster at all. I know this game doesn't really fit story wise with the other 3, but come on. Go all the way.

It looks like I'll just settle for the standard edition of True Colors so I can have a physical copy on my shelf and pay $10 for Steph DLC. I'm also just going to ignore the remasters of Life is Strange and Before the Storm since I'm just going to replay those games before playing True Colors. Anyone else have any issues with this or am I just hella overreacting?

Hey Strange Birds, hope all is well. I always appreciated the beautiful in-game scenery that the Life is Strange games provided. I may be in the minority but I think it would be cool to see a game take place in the U.S. South. Maybe places like Tennessee or the Carolinas for example. Alabama is also pretty underrated. The south is very beautiful with Appalachian mountains, parks, rivers, forests and plenty of history to see. Just a fun thought to throw out there.

So Life Is Strange 1 was in a school atmosphere and people were everywhere. This one is just you and your brother most of the time and gets kinda depressing. Will there be more interactions in later episodes?

PS: even if most of the game is just you and your brother I respect that. Some people like it that way. I'm an RPG kind of guy so...
