[S1] Help with getting Victoria to move

    Posted: 19 Aug 2021 12:51 PM PDT

I've played this game many many times and this is the first time I've came across this, well bug you could call it.

I have to get Victoria and her clones to move and I know I have to mess with the paint and the sprinklers in that order but I don't get the prompt to mess with the paint bucket. It's just the ladder that's highlighted, with Max saying she doesn't want to hurt Samuel. I've restarted the checkpoint, exited the game and restarted it to that point and still can't get the paint option to activate. I'm on PS4 if that helps. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks. ,

[S1] If you think about it Life is Strange plot is a mash up of Twin Peaks, The Butterfly Effect and Donnie Darko.

    Posted: 19 Aug 2021 11:18 AM PDT

    TWIN PEAKS

The mystery is about the murder/dissaperence of a well-liked popular teenage girl in a quiet town with secrets.

    THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT

The protagonists have the ability to visit and alter the past and so create different timelines/realities.

They both also moved away from his hometown when they were 13 leaving his childhood friend behind. They fell out of touch and when they meet her friends again years later, they realize how messed up her life has become since the disappeared from her life. They tried to use their power to change her past for the better.

They both created an alt timeline where they are member of a popular and elitist social group.

    DONNIE DARKO

Both Life is Strange and Donnie Darko shares the approach of Tangent Universes and the general idea of time travel.

A common central theme of Donnie Darko is the idea of sacrificing one person to save a small American town. In the film, it's the protagonist Donnie that is sacrificed.

Middlesex and Arcadia Bay are both destroyed by a time vortex resembling a tornado.

[S2] And that’s 3 done! Great journey from start to finish. I think I liked S1 a bit more though. Also, Graffiti > Photos > Collectibles

[ALL] LIS changed me and I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad one

    Posted: 18 Aug 2021 10:36 PM PDT

LIS is strange but one thing that changed me extremely while playing the game was ME my mindset, my emotions and everything in between after completing LIS I went into a few days of depression due to the immense story and effects it had on my life .after completion of the game i sat for about a day and thought doing nothing else accept from thinking. I sat and thought about the story because i had put myself into the shoes of the different characters so much that I felt like it was actually me. And then I thought about the music that was inside of the game. the music played a huge part in the game for me because music was UNREAL this was because the music linked into the game and had a certain aesthetic. the rest of I would say 4 days i just slept and had dreams about LIS (i had never had dreams of a certain thing over and over again before) and when I woke up from my slumber i sat and thought again about the story, the characters, the music and then I finally started to take note on the emotional effect the game had cast on me. After realising this I started listening to the LIS soundtrack while still being in this depressed state. the music kind of freed me of this grasp the game still had over me and I just forgot about the game but only because I forced myself to because i would have just ended up in the state I was after completing the game. Now every now and then I listen to the LIS soundtrack and I now have this fuzzy warm feeling accompanied along with the depression which now yes still makes me think about the story, characters and the music but in a good way but occasionally there is the odd time I think to much and do not feel depressed but sad. i believe i thought so much after completing the game was because i envied Chloe and max i thought that was the perfect teen life it clearly wasn't but at that time my life was boring with nothing but just living day by day and the LIS was not boring it was exciting and extraordinary. That's my story on how life is strange changed me. I would love to here yours :)

does anyone know what order of games from the LiS series that I should play, watch, or read? I already watched the first game, and I kinda feel like just getting myself into another part of the story that'll probably satisfy my insomniac self once more
