    [ALL] Fanfic help

    Posted: 26 Oct 2019 02:06 PM PDT

So I have this fanfic that I remember but forgot the name. It's where max and Chloe steal the lighthouse bench in the middle of the night and plan to put it in their house or something.

    Does anyone remember it, thanks!

[ALL] I just thought of something.

You know how in the first game, there's the option to let the bluejay into the house, instead of letting it ram into the window?

What if the jay represented Chloe? Like, it'd be easier for Max to just keep the window closed and let it die. Because if you open it, you have to do a whole thing to let it back outside again. Like how it'd be easier for Max to let Chloe die in the bathroom, because she has to go though a lot to keep her alive.

Letting it out could be symbolic of how Max tries to keep Chloe alive.

The dead birds outside could also represent the people of the town. If Max using her powers is what caused their deaths, than that means using her rewind is at least partially responsible for the deaths of the birds. Like how in the end of the game, Max could sacrifice the town for Chloe. Her initial use of the rewind to save Chloe is at least partially responsible for the tornado, which leads to the deaths of the people in the town.

It's probably too convoluted, but it's something I thought was interesting.

I seriously don't know how these games do it, but here we are again...

I do want to say that D9 did an amazing job with the game, though. I had some reservations before starting it since it wasn't DONTNOD. Thankfully I was wrong.
