    [S2 E1] Was Reluctant to play LiS 2 after I never got through Ep 1, but...(spoilers for LiS2 ep1)

    I was Reluctant to play LiS 2 after I never got through Ep 1, but after having a huge Horizon Zero Dawn kick I decided to replay LiS to get more of Aloy's voice actor as I now know her. Decided to force myself to restart LiS 2 and while it still was somewhat offputting how it lacks the things that made me connect to the first game (such as the artsy atmosphere, discontent with a small town, the general hipster style, and relationship between Max and Chloe) but I was immediately more connected to the police violence against minorities that is the games opening act, and upon finishing episode 1 I felt far more inclined to finish. Anyone else?

    [NO SPOILERS] I found this "tabletop" roleplaying game called Alice is Missing. Definite LiS vibes, and if any of you are into real-world games, it might be worth looking at.

    I was watching the session and heard the music they were playing and the story they told, and I was joking in chat and called it "Rachel Amber is Missing," before I even saw their blurb:

    I'm not part of their team or the company that makes it, I'm just a board game nerd and a LiS fan. I'm not really sure how to make this more than just an advertising post, because it's not meant to be -- it's just meant to share a game that our sorta folks might be into.

    In LiS1, Max had the power to rewind time.

    In LiS2, Daniel had the power to levitate, push, and manipulate anything with force.

    What sort of freaky ability would you like to see next from a hypothetical new protagonist assuming the franchise continues it's rotating cast?

    I bought bts deluxe edition and installed all the episodes and the dlc. I finished episode 1 but when I tried to start 2 it only said "install". I've reinstalled all the episodes and nothing works. Does anyone have a fix?
