    [ALL] Where are Max and Chloe after LiS 1 and where are they today?

    These are my speculation but I'd really love to hear from the community! The first half of this post tries to guess where they were in 4th July 2017 using the conversation between Sean and Daniel in LiS 2 Episode 5. The latter half tries to guess where they would be today, in 2020. Please pardon my mistakes, English is not my first language.

    In the episode 5 of Life is Strange 2, David Madsen talks about what happened to Arcadia Bay and even talks to Chloe on the phone. The way she asks him about the Solar panel, kinda suggests they were here very recently (which sucks I really wanted to meet them!). And that they are currently in new york

    If you have chosen the bae ending, these 3 polaroids and selfie of Max and Chloe exist (along with Victoria Chase's letter). But if you have chosen the Bay ending, the letter is replaced by Nathan's photo and by a picture of David with his brother.

    Since these photos exist only in the Bae ending, I am 100% sure Max took those polaroid's and I feel like this is kind of what must have inspired her to take these pictures:

    1. Picture of Joan - She is an artist like Max. She must have felt the need to capture her after a conversation with her.
    2. Picture of Arthur and Peterson - They are a gay couple, which Max must have found cute.
    3. Picture of Karen with David - This picture is what I feel like must be the reason why they went to new york. David probably introduced them. Then Karen (who previously worked in new york) after hearing about Max's aspirations as a photographer recommended her to go to new york.

    I'd really love to hear everyone's thoughts as to why Max chose to take those pictures. And did she really go to new york on Karen's suggestion? Since they very recently left and how David asks Chloe to wish Max luck, must be because they are got there recently.

    The second thing I wonder about is where are Max and Chloe today and what would they be doing in 2020? ? Based on what we know as recent as 4th July 2017 (via the call from Chloe), Max is trying to apply to galleries with future plans to visit Arizona once again. They even planned some trips down to Louisiana and Texas. I bet we can predict accurately where they would be today. Max has recently turned 25 years old this year (her birthday was last week on 21st September). Man, time flies. She was 18 in LiS 1.

    I can only picture them driving across countries and visiting Seattle or Arizona to visit their parents. Does Chloe starts school again? Did Max get a job in new york? What do they spend their time on together? Maybe they went to picture the Crew Dragon mission? In LiS 1 Max and Chloe always talk about how they wanted to travel the world how much cool it would be to go to Portland in Frank's RV. There is a message in Max's phone from Chloe in one of the alternative timelines where Chloe has applied for bay city college.

    I'd really to know what everyone thinks what they would be doing today.

    I love Max and Chloe. After what I went through in LiS 1 they are like family to me now. It's just sad DontNod has said their character arcs are closed. They will always be my favourite! Thank you for reading

    [All] Confused about what happened to Rachel and Rachel’s backstory

    I know that Rachel started having a sexual relationship with Jefferson shortly before the murder. I know that the affections were one sided, and ultimately Nathan's overdose killed Rachel. What I'm confused about is: 1) was Jefferson responsible for her murder at all (besides training Nathan) and 2) Did Rachel actually consent to the photographs taken of her by Jefferson? If so, then why? Jefferson wouldn't get enjoyment out of photographing a model who consented, right? And even if she hadn't consented, he mentions that she was "corrupted", which he dislikes, so why the photographs at all?

    Did he photograph her at a point when he thought she was what he wanted in a subject, but later on he viewed her as "corrupted", hence him insulting her to Max?

    [NO SPOILERS] Importing Lis Character Textures to Blender

    Hi I'm not an export at using Blender but I decided to try getting the hang of it by trying to create several models. I also bought LiS which pushed me to try to use the models from the game (.psk files). I have gotten the hang of using the animation (.psa) files but now I am clue-less on how to use the .tga texture files. Does anyone know how to use these and import them into Blender correctly? I tried using a guide posted by u/fireTwoOneNine for importing the files. Anyone know how to do this?

    [S1] Near Light by novalounge Chapter 23 is out!

    For those who don't know One Way Trip and the sequel Near Light are an ongoing (I never doubted, promise) pricefield fic.

    Both stories currently total a mammoth 489,000 words.

    Here's the synopsis for One Way Trip if you haven't read it:

    Max and Chloe lived together in the shadows for over three hundred years.. side effects. After losing Chloe and all life to sudden global destruction at the hands of an unknown enemy, Max makes an unguided one-way jump back to their beginning to try to change fate. Can she and Chloe rebuild a past only Max remembers, while guiding humanity to a less explody future? Pricefield, etc.

    Personally this is probably my favourite fic in the LiS universe, would highly recommend. Similar to Better Then.
