Since here we are all fan of the game maybe someone have a link where I can find max' bag wannabe. I know that on Etsy (or other sites) there are a ton of replicas but I'm searching for the most similar in term of color and form. What I'm saying is that I'm searching for a similar bag without stickers and patches. Thanks for you help :)

[ALL] Another Quick Update on Chapter 7 Progress, "The Blue Line", [80s Detective AU on AO3]

Hey again folks,

Yeah, I'm probably going to try and give more regular updates on this platform as it's probably going to take me A LOT longer than planned in order to get chapters written and released. I'd like to make sure that what little reader-base I had to begin with doesn't get bored and switch over to Midsomer Murders :P.

[By regular, I mean at least every other week, possibly weekly if I have anything meaningful to report on].

For anyone wondering or unable to guess, the following are the key contributors to the slow progress right now:

1- I have college things to do, and having nearly been broken by one module (which I now kinda understand after getting more tuition on) I need to focus on not failing those. Turns out, studying Engineering DOES involve Maths. A lot of Maths, in fact. Adder of 2018 would be running for the hills if he knew...

2- Work has been... interesting. I've got a few new side-roles as well as having to chase up a load of things as part of my current team. I am working from home though, so there's that.

3- Our good old friend, Writer's Block™. As well as our dear friend The Plague, which has been silently causing stress here and there, I've got a lot on my mind right now- such as Irritating Rodent Bastards that invaded my flat a few weeks ago, which I'm having to monitor- and having too much to do with not much time. (Factorio hasn't helped either- fun game but jesus christ do I spend unhealthy lengths of time on it rn!)

Depending on how the next few weeks go, I should hopefully get the chapter finished and released by the end of the year.

As for other things that are buzzing around in my head like hornets:

Long-Term Plans:

- The theorized Post-Bay fic, planned for 2025 (no really, I'm thinking that far ahead lol): No progress on plot concepts as yet, not had time.

Likely to begin after TBL:

- Putting out The Fire: My own spin on a Self-Sacrifice AU, not saying any more than that at this stage. All I will say is this:

. The basic ideas are there, I just need to figure out a proper plot and work from there.

- Untitled, Inspired by the play My Boy Jack: Pretty comprehensive Plot concept already written up, as I have a pretty cohesive structure for the story. Would be mostly first-person from primarily Max's perspective, with second-person views at times.

Other:

I have a Google Doc of with an additional six fic ideas on it, not including the ones mentioned above.
