    [S1 E1] davids files

    Posted: 15 Feb 2021 02:00 PM PST

hi, i just completed ep1 for the first time and after looking at the decision stats at the end of the episode, i found out that i was supposed to look through the files in the garage, but i didnt (i did try to, but when they got dirty i just assumed that i wouldnt be able to do anything with them and just rewinded without checking them). will this have a negative impact on how my story unfolds? id appreciate any spoiler free answer, thanks a lot in advance!

[NO SPOILERS] For anyone interested in time travel, watch Dark (Netflix)

It's one of the best series I've ever watched and got me thinking about life in general on somewhat the same note as Life is Strange did.

It is a german tv series, but also available in english, french, italian and turkish + subtitles.

Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed.

[ALL] Which friendship dynamics do you have with your friends?

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 06:25 PM PST

Max & Chloe - one of you is the goody two shoes while the other is the bad girl but you guys still make it work cuz both of y'all r smartasses.

Rachel & Chloe - ya'll make dirty jokes and get into trouble lots of times.

Juliet & Dana - ya'll fight over the smallest things but quickly kiss and make up after a while.

Nathan & Victoria - ya'll bitch about whoever you hate no questions asked.

Taylor & Victoria - one of you is a total bitch but y'all still stick together cuz u see the best in each other nonetheless.

Justin & Trevor - YOU'RE A DICK! DON'T SLAP ME, BITCH! That is how y'all fight.

You guys can choose one or more. Really depends on your dynamics. With one of my best friends we're all of the dynamics (especially J&T and T&V) except Nathan & Victoria lmao with my other best friends we're essentially Max & Chloe.

[S1 E5] Does Max know she’s in a video game?

    Posted: 14 Feb 2021 04:42 PM PST

During the dream sequence, when Max is talking to Mr. Jefferson in the classroom, there's a moment when the dialog options include things like "I love you, Mr. Jefferson" and "Thanks for killing Chloe", and Max says in her head "There's no way I'm saying that."

So Max can see her four dialog options, like the player can? Is that just in the dream sequence, or is it always like that? It could just be a benign thing, like that's how she visualizes her words before she says them, but the fact that she called attention to the UI and the game mechanics made me wonder if she actually is aware of how she only has a choice of saying 4 things at any one time, or that she's in a video game, since that's a very meta thing that I think is fun to consider. Kind of like in Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, with the ending you can get where you learn you're in the present day on the set of a TV show, and not living your life in the 1980s.
