- [ALL] The Ambers seemed to be related to a lot of the animal symbolism going on, and they weren’t straight slapped in your face like the usual references. Sus. (crosspost from r/BeforeTheStorm)

[S2] 3 minor things that bugged me Posted: 17 Jul 2021 11:10 PM PDT [LIS2] 3 minor things that bugged me I just finished life is strange 2 for the first time. I feel like it deserves better then what a lot of you say. Took me a bit to get into but i did end up liking it though not as much as the first. There were 3 small things that kind of bugged me a little though.
It felt really "strange" so to speak that in E5 we actually meet a character from LIS1 out of nowhere after the events of the first game not being mentioned since E1. It just feels really shoehorned in as if they felt like they didn't put enough LIS1 references in so they just crammed them all in at the end. I guess it was neat to see a picture of max and chloe after Arcadia Bay but it just felt like it was just there to be like "hey remember this you liked this right?"
What happened to the money mechanic? After episode 2 you never end up having to spend or save money again because you never even get a chance to use it! The only thing you can do with it is choose whether or not to let Jacob keep the weed farm money, but it doesn't matter if you do because you don't even end up needing it for anything
I really liked this dude but why is the romance option locked behind a terrible decision that ends up having a net negative effect on your story arc? It almost feels like the game wants to actively discourage you from doing so or something
Fuck this and whoever designed it I almost quit the game because this was so badly designed and Sean just kept failing and it goes for so long Also if you accept and complete Daniel's "quest" in E5 him and Sean do what looks like a Fortnite dance and I cringed so hard at this [link] [comments] |
