[No Spoilers] LiS never fails to hit me right in the feels.

I've been working on a fan fic for a while and have been going back through playing the game, reading the script, and watching videos of cutscenes to make sure I get all of the continuity and such right. Once had to rewatch the ending scene multiple times and even out of context it never fails to make me tear up. Idk what kind of magic Dontnod put into this story, but it always seems to make my stoic ass cry.

[NO SPOILERS] playing with a controller

    Posted: 22 Nov 2020 10:01 AM PST

So I'm playing LiS for the first time and saw that in the start menu they state that it's better to play with a controller, so I plugged one in and noticed that when I look around it feels very "floaty". For example if I look left and quickly look right it takes a while to actually look right. Is there a way to turn this off?

Also is LiS 2 any good? Because it has a hefty discount on steam and I have a thing for choice-based games now.

[All] So I know its kinda old at this point, but honestly one thing got me about the first Life is Strange

    [Spoilers ahead]

It was known at least known by Max in advance that the lighthouse held significance to the future. And toward the end even in the Bunker Max's plan was to escape with Chloe to the Lighthouse, but couldn't tons of people have been saved if Max shared that info with the people in the Two Whales Diner to start

It seems apparent that unintended consequences would come into play having used rewind, so going back wouldn't help, but I find it weird this wasn't an in-game option. For the RPG as well it'd be really interesting to have the option to damn all the people of Arcadia with no moral ambiguity, just a pure evil option.

I do think the final choice would still hold it's weight off the fact that many did already die. If you remember on the way to the Diner you do see individuals dead or already dying in street under collapsed buildings and over turned cars.

[NO SPOILERS] Other games similar to LiS?

The title basically. I already played LiS like ten times, but I was wondering if there were similar games you guys have tried and really liked. Thank you!
