    Hello Strangers! It's been a very exciting week in the LIS Fandom and now that we've all had the weekend to let it settle, we're sure you have some questions. We do too!

    To that end, we'll be submitting a list of questions to Square Enix later this week.

    If you have a question about LIS True Colors or the Remasters that you would like answered, post it here as a comment!

    Please note that this isn't an AMA - this is for things like "will there be limited editions of True Colors" or "how long will the game be?" and not "what was it like to write Alex" and "is there a 'kiss steph' button?". You are of course free to submit whatever question you like, but keep in mind that there's no guarantee of an answer, especially if your question is about things that they can't or won't talk about.

    We'll leave this thread up for a couple of days and then submit the list after that. Ask away!

    I remember some review they put out like after episode 3 came out. They tried to claim that Lis tries to excuse Nathans actions by showing how he takes medication and how Lis tackles disabilities wrong by showing Chloe as a burden.

    It's like some people can't tell the difference between a written character and what the message actually is. Nathan being shown to take medication is not exusing his behavior..just reinstating that he has alot of issues. Most people who sexually abuse other people and use people have mental issues. Giving a reason is not the same as giving an excuse. No one came out of Life Is Strange feeling sorry for Nathan. That ship sailed knowing he was helping Mark Jefferson.

    There whole thing with Chloe is how they were showing her to be a burden in Episode 4, but they weren't. It was just Chloe feeling that way herself. Many people who get a disability such as becoming paralyzed often do feel burdened when everyone has to accommodate them. It's a very common reality. And showing Joyce and William having trouble paying for medical stuff and losing the insurance is a call out to Americas poor healthcare system..not Chloe being shown as a burden. Chloe felt that way, but the game itself wasn't saying she was. What a character thinks about themselves vs a games message are 2 different things. Chloe saying she felt like a burden was not the game saying she was a burden.

    I am super excited by the new renders we got to see of max, Chloe, and Rachel, so now I just want to see all the other characters. Who else do we wanna see, and do we think there's any probability of another remaster trailer being released?

    [ALL] I found the psychological anime version of LiS: Wonder Egg Priority, and it’s amazing

    So I was roaming around YouTube and dunno how but I chanced upon this yuri amv. Not sure how yuri (Japanese term for wlw) it actually is in the series because there was actually no intimate or kissing scenes as far as I got into the amv because when I saw the parallels with LiS I IMMEDIATELY tried finding the show.

    The anime is called Wonder Egg Priority (2021) and is produced by CloverWorks— the same studio that produced The Promised Neverland.

    Genres: Psychological horror, drama, fantasy

    So as to not spoil for those who're interested in watching it, I'll just mention how exactly this anime is so similar to LiS that I dare even call it the LiS of anime. The first episode immediately throws the 14 y/o MC in this sort of nightmare world that is uncannily and even more creepily very similar to Max's nightmare in Polarized, the anime deals with dark heavy topics such as abuse, depression, self harm, bullying and suicide (but they're all done with tact so they're not graphic, but considering they all happened to young girls it's really dark when you think about it even though the tone of the anime is still balanced between light and dark), the MC (Ai) also wears a hoodie and has short hair, also immensely socially awkward af and has social anxiety, her best friend (Koito) who supposedly committed suicide (I'm theorizing she was killed) was very much who Rachel Amber was to Chloe (or in this case Max) and is even implied to have a Mark Jefferson of her own (who I'm theorizing after watching the amv is definitely the culprit). Suffice to say, the Rachel Amber of this story is also dead.

    Now you may be skeptical because 'anime? Isn't that some cringe shit?' But nah, this one isn't as far as I can tell because it's a psychological anime so it actually focuses on the psychological aspects of the characters and story. I mean I'm still actually in episode 03 but I can tell for you for certain, this one's a gem and is a genuine story about a girl trying to save her best friend by bringing her back to life (in a very unconventional way that sounds strange: protecting the strangers who've committed suicide she meets in her nightmares from their personified trauma, which should supposedly bring her own best friend back to life according to the voice guiding her in the nightmares)— so it's very similar in character dynamic wise, storytelling and plot. Either way, if you loved Kate Marsh and found the maze nightmare and the psychological aspects of LiS to be intriguing then you'll probably like this anime. I could even actually imagine something similar to this is probably what post-bay Max could've went through while dealing with Chloe's death.

    Right now it's still ongoing so I actually don't know how it ends but since we're still waiting for TC anyway, might as well fall in love with another mystery that has a depressing foundation. And as I'm writing this I still do not know what will happen because it seems to have a twist of Alice in Wonderland in it too and a lot of it seems to be open to interpretation just like LiS. But anyway, I am very much suspicious of the teacher in this story.
