    This is the first game in the series that's gonna be a full priced game at $60. Well... I guess $60 technically isn't full price anymore since $70 is the new norm. But, no other game in the history of this series has cost this much. Now, this doesn't personally bother me. I'm willing to pay $100 plus on a fancy collectors edition (fingers crossed) but I do worry that the general audience might think $60 is too much for this type of game. I just hope it doesn't hurt the game's sales is all.

    In the description on the Steam page of the deluxe upgrade it says:

    The Life is Strange Hero Outfit Pack will be available at launch of the base game.

    The bonus story, 'Wavelengths' will release after Life is Strange: True Colors.

    Do we know how long after?

    Why are so many people defending Eliot Hampden? He's manipulative and abusive to Chloe in Episode 3 of Before the Storm trying to turn her against Rachel. He doesn't care about her. I wanted to sic Trisha Cappelletti from The Most Popular Girls in School on him to see how he likes being yelled at by a Barbie Doll.

    [NO SPOILERS] Empathy, the best of the worst superpowers.

    A lot of people have been bashing empathy on the LiS True Colours advert trailer on Facebook. So I just wanted to remind people that while yes, empathy is one of the lamest superpowers at the lowest levels of application, there is a very good reason for why it's frequently reffered to as the best of the worst superpowers.

    Empathy at higher levels of application is terrifying, a power so ludicrously strong that most GM's won't let their players have access to it, and when it shows up in films and tv series it's always in the hands of someone who's either just acquired it, or is still learning how to use it.

    ​

    At the base level, where you're only able to feel/read their emotions, you're at worse going to be the best (and thus the richest) poker player, or at best a very influential social butterfly.

    ​

    The mid (meh) level, where you're able to start sharing emotions, which is kind of a shit upgrade. Worst case scenario, it makes you a better poker player. Since you can manipulate players to bid low or high relative to how you feel about your cards. While best case scenario, you can interrupt others thought processes, and potential de-escalate heated situations.

    ​

    The high level, in which the power finally becomes weaponized, and which most RPG players think of when their contemplating buying it, if their GM would actually allow them to. The ability to share an emotion with someone without actually feeling that emotion, in essence projecting an emotion of your choice. So you could make someone feel terror so terrible that it turns their hair white, and suffer a fatal heart attack. Or make someone feel an unfathomable sadness, or soul crushing depression so intense that they take their own life. Or make a person feel a sense of blissful happiness so full and complete that they just want to lie down and simply be until they slowly pass away from dehydration. A popular (but very evil) application of empathy is to make a person feel overwhelming madness, and just leave them alive, but irrevocably broken.

    The highest levels of superpowered empathy tend to shatter the one crippling aspect of empathy in that it's a 1v1 power, and lets you feel (and thus unpack) the emotions of multiple people simultaneously. Which in turn, changes your empathy attacks from 'single target' to 'group target' which is quite the upgrade. It's at this point, when your able to bring an entire army to it's knees, that the true power of empathy starts to seriously overshadow powers like telekinesis. Or at least until telekinesis shatters it's own glass ceiling, and is able to start tossing moons around, or apply force at the subatomic level to the point of becoming (albeit with more steps) indistinguishable from matter manipulation.

    [NO SPOILERS] Does anybody know when LIS True Colors Ultimate Edition be able to preorder on amazon.co.uk?

    I am interested in preordering LIS True Colors but in my country they don't really do preorders. So I usually preorder from amazon co uk as it delivers here. Now you can preorder the game from amazon for Xbox Series X/PS4/PS5. But the Deluxe/Ultimate edition isn't listed. And I do want those preorder outfits. So will ultimate edition even have a physical release?

    I've been told by many people, especially by my wolf pack (my group of friends) that I'm emotionally empathic. Being that like Alex I get super overwhelmingly affected by people's emotions which can cause me immense harm. I still love Max, Chloe, Sean, Rachel, and Daniel, but Alex will for now and forever have a special place in my heart. For the simple reason of a character reminding me of myself, maybe by DONTNOD making a character who is emotionally empathic will bring awareness to people who are actually emotionally empathic. I hope it will because I feel so alone.
